Fair point I suppose. I'm a CoD fan but not a pure fanatic or anything, I play it casually.

VS. If our starting squad is Garrus/Tali/Liara/VS then you've either got
only one sniper if Ash is dead (Garrus) or one shotgunner if Kaidan's
dead.

I thought there was no weapon restrictions.

None for Shepard.  The other characters though, have weapon types already picked out for them.

My thinking is that Ash is more likely to die in a FemShep playthrough because

A. Female gamers are inclined to play a female most likely
B. Again, if pursuing a romance, Ash is likely going down

So I don't think Kaiden ever had a chance of surviving more than Ash. The only way I could've seen it coming is if Ash was such a bad character that no one wanted her to breathe. Luckily, she's a great character.

So is he, but many people tend to thrash him for "Carth-syndrome", which is also part of the reason he gets killed in some players games.

So when all things are considered, I don't think it should be a surprise to anyone and I don't think the numbers are needed at this point.

They may be revealed later though.

I think he looks just like Carth and they had to give him the same actor who I never liked, hated him in Independance Day.


The only way to support your hypothesis is to find out the ratio of romances between Kaidan and a FemShep and Ashley and a MaleShep vs those keeping either alive in the hopes of a future ME titles featuring a same sex relationship with the characters.

well maybe for balance Vega weilds a sniper AND a shotgun? anyone thought of that? Vega WAS shown in the comic to be prone to close range comic and in the trailer it shows him sniping husks from a distance (albiet with a helmet on but to be fair it was made BEFORE they even invented his face)
