I also love how people define "natural order". Whatever is ideal and familiar to them is fine, but once the chaos theory starts doing its thing people freak out and call it an abomination. Like I said, whether it is acceptable is another matter.

I'm not going to go into detail about how something like... that could happen. But everything that would compel someone to do that is built from the most basic elements of nature.

Physics and chemical reactions make life and genes. Genes create the human brain and its psychology. That pshychology is affected by the environment which is bound to mathematics and logistics. Ect. Everything has a base and everything comes from somewhere. Nature isn't perfect and can churn out undesirables once in a while.

It's all one big equation.

It's not something we can entirely comprehend, but that's the truth. Eh... I'll stop ranting about how our entire existance is just one big illusion of choice. Bleak and pre-determined. A terrible lie who's only mercy is that we connot hope to be fully aware of it ... I'll stop

Unfortunately, no. If they did then not a single thread in this forum would ever get closed. Honestly, I think they should just start a new standard:

Any other S/S thread made is locked immediately and the user who created it should be temp or perma banned. There is an S/S thread already. Discuss it in there and stop wasting time by posting the same thread at least three times week. It's obnoxious (and entertaining when you go into it with the mindset of posting funny gifs, but be that as it may...).

I think it's ironic that you want to call me "prejudiced" when you just made up an entire post about things I would apparently do "Pre-ME 3" simply because of the post I just made five seconds ago. I think the irony of your post is so beyond you that it must have passed through a Mass Relay and ended up somewhere in Noveria.

There's wrongs on both sides, to be completely honest. I stand somewhere in the middle. Of course I WANT S/S romances (being a gay man and all), but I also don't want Bioware to screw up the writing for their characters. I think it actually does a bit of a disservice to S/S romances to just shoehorn one in where it doesn't quite belong. But you know how it is: it gets personal and it r srs bsnss around here. I think the problem comes down to just how far the issue can go on either side, really, and that Bioware has some pretty adamant fans about what is and isn't integrity and lore.
