I'm really curious as to how someone's sexual preference can change the way you feel about them because it does not change who they are. Would you not accept Garrus leading you through the suicide mission if he was Bi? He's still the same person/same personality/same out look on life, same skills etc. There has never been any confirmation of anyone's sexuality in the two games (yes, you can blame the budget, how much development for cut content), but otherwise no one has been established in that way. The only character that actually mentions anything close to their sexuality is Jack - the "girls club comment", even then, I wouldn't care if she became Bi and if she did, I would just like them to explain that comment in the third game.

The girls club  comment can be taken in more than one way.  Jack did say she's been with both.

To be honest, Agamo, this is what I imagine a lot of the opposite side thinks anyway, so your honesty is kind of refreshing.

Then again, you are in the character and romance board, in which topics relating to romance would be logically discussed, so...

You could say the same bout Tali and Miranda.  They don't give femShep the time of day and their conversations stop at that point.

Unlike the OP, I'm not going to sugercoat my opinions. I'm NOT supportive of the homosexual "community", and I won't say that I am just to be politically correct, or say that I have gay friends.

I honestly wish that everyone on your side was like you. It'd drastically reduce the chances of your opinions ever getting credence in civilized society upon realizing that this is what it all boils down to.

As rude as he is, he does have a point. BioWare's main-trick pony has shifted with it, as well: story, choice/consequence and continuity now take backseat to these shallow "romances". And it isn't like the other side doesn't have equally rude bigots, either.

Also, I'd like to argue that last bit of your post, but sadly enough we can't get too political on here.

If I recall correctly one of the major tenets of the Constitution is the explicit right to say whatever the **** I want. I'm not going to conform with this San Fransicko degeneracy, and I'm going to let it be known with God as my witness.

I always took Jack's comment to mean "I'm not into all this touchy-feely girly talk **** Shepard." She seems pretty cavalier about whether or not she has a "boyfriend or a girlfriend" so I don't think she is saying "I don't do girls." Uh, Jack ... you already told me you did if that were the case.

But then again, my femShep wasn't hitting on her either ... she was just wanting to chat when Jack shut their dialogue down. That is one of my complaints about the game ... you either romanced or people were calibrating, quitting the girls club, crap.
