I don't see how that's on anyone but you. You could make the same argument about anything. "Well, sure, $50 for a full-length game sounds reasonable, but what if there are FIVE that I want to get? I have to pay $250? That's ridiculous!" Bottom line, if you want to buy multiple pieces of content at once, that's your choice.Cyberarmy wrote...
And while £10 is nothing for 4-5 hours of fun you are thinking about only 1 game.
What if im playing 5 games and they are all releasing DLCs one after another so need to pay £50 total?
And add that you are playing a MMORPG for another £10 monthly.
Don't get me wrong, adding new content is always good but need to pay for each? İts nonsense and a moey trap. İn my humble opinion of course.
Mark of the assassin. Will you buy this DLC?

The idea that value for money doesn't matter just because the amount involved is small seems very strange to me.

Value is subjective from person to person. It's not static. There are people like me who see 4-5 hours of game content worth 10 dollars because they have spent just as much money on less rewarding purchases. I see people spend around 80 dollars to go out for one night over the course of the same time. I don't see that as a valueable way to spend money. Likewise they see me spend 10 dollars to sit in and play a video game and they don't see that as valueable. We all have different opinions on what is a good way to spend our money, more so when it comes to entertainment.
Also I have a sneaking suspicion that most of the people that post here regularly and talk trash about bioware and Dragon Age 2 and DLC pricing will probably buy the DLC anyways just so they can come back here and complain some more.

This is sadly so true.

Yeah. The Epic Edition was an Epic Fail, at least in my opinion. And Ouch. Glad it was his money, and not mine.
After all that, the game better be awesome.

OK, actually, my husband and I are each getting a copy so we can both play it right when it comes out, how sad is that? We're doing our part to help the economy. And we both want the robotic dog.

I'll admit, I did preorder ME3 CE, but only because it comes with a robotic dog (how can you NOT go for the robotic dog?!?).

Robotic Dogs are entirely different. My wife and I did the same thing.

Hmm, if there's a Tempest-like plot under all the celebrity hype, I might actually reconsider my earlier decision. With my luck, somebody just liked the name.thats1evildude wrote...
Hey, I just read on the Wiki that the Orlesian noble who owns the Heart of the Many can be found is named "Prospero." Does anyone know where they might have gotten that info?

I draw the line at Statues in my special editions.
I agree. Especially since the statue generally adds $50 to the price tag.

Especially if it's a crappy Marcus Fenix one. That's going on ebay....unless anyone has use for a paperweight. Anyone?
Sadly, we didn't know what was in the set when the hubby preordered it. It hadn't been announced yet.
I'd like to know why his feet are twice the size of his head. Hmm.
