We picked up morrigan an the Mage but in battle we can't seem to get her spells to work. How do you cast spells. We click on the spell and don't seem to get a target icon. Any help would be great

Do you have a staff equipped? If Morrigan is currently attacking someone, you should just be able to left click the spell in your spell/talent bar and she'll fire off the spell.

If you are controlling Morrigan, then you target enemies the same way as if you were controlling anyone else. You have to have an enemy targeted before you pick the spell, unless the spell targets an area of effect, rather than a specific target.

If you are setting up her tactics, then just go with Enemy: target of main character-<name of spell>. Her defaults can also be used to start out. If you leave her alone during battle, she should cast spells on her own.

If you don't have a game manual, then targeting should also be mentioned somewhere in the game tutorial menu, where the codex entries are listed.
