What if BioWare allowed you to also customize what your LI is. Right off the beginning of the game you could chose race, gender, facial and body details, and 10 set backstories to the character that would be just labeled as "Backstory1, 2" etc. just so you dont know what to expect.

Uh....that would completely ruin a character that could be important to the story because their role would have to be simplified if they were made by player choice.

@Admiral Cheez I just got back from saving the galaxy from the reaper threat, so please put that "I have a life card" in the discard pile, we both know you don't. Plus I played Admiral Ackbar trap card which completely destroyed you.

Seriously, that's one creepy fantasy I'm glad they don't let us indulge in.  But if you must, just make your Shep someone you'd bang and pick the love interest that comes with the most nudie.

Thats not what I meant damnit. At least this way no real set character is put in the game... so BW could avoid some of the political blowback of the situation. Basically its the players and the player business who they romance. The game being set as is does allow you to choose... yes so it does present this option but the romancable characters are already defined in very specific ways... which creates a platform for the haters to stand on and protest from.

Do you realize how STUPID it is to allow people to make a custom character for the sole purpose of polygonal sex?

Just go with the dying lizardman.  He writes you a nice letter and sweats LSD.
