Hey all,
I am just wondering if anyone knows how to add in new custom soundsets for the main player character. I have a couple of soundpacks I've collected over the years & would love to add them in.
Thanks.

Sorry for my really long delay.
I am looking at the resource (the DAO Wiki & whatnot). I have several ideas & have the actual sound files, but am progressing as a snails pace.

more than the resources, I believe that what the community desires is a thing similar to the SSF template for NWN, where to each sound was associated an action
but you're doing good!

Dragon Age\\tools\\Source\\2DA
That directory contains the file ss_types.xls
That may be what we are looking for. I'm also looking at this thread, where KingEtzel is really helping me. I do feel bad as I have kind of hi-jacked that thread though...
I am just trying to access the template dlg file that he mentions, but I can't seem to find it.

The real one is - as sherlockemery mentioned in the other thread "playersoundsets.xls"
You can edit this one in Excel and after that convert it into a 2DA to get it in game. I have opened a new thread to share the experience I made and to discuss, what is still to be done: http://social.biowar...73/index/469797

The SS_Types file is an excel file.
The template I can't locate outside of the Toolset. IF you could get it, I believe it would be a dlg file. It's located in the Toolset Resources _Core Soundsets folder in the Toolset if you're using the character creator & selecting the voice set. You have to select dlg file to see it, as it is defaulted to ss_dlg files.
////// edit
He beat me to the post, disregard the above.

I'd really love for someone to implement the player character sound sets/voices you can pick in Baldur's Gate 2.
