I always used the Legionaire Scout for the boost to HP, but it really depends on the character.

There is a couple of boxes/chests at the end of the dungeon, near the Qunari merchant.It will be in them. I never have enough space to get all the items back at once, I usually end up selling to the merchant. The funny thing is, that is the only time you can buy/sell to the Qunari.
