Posted on Twitter by a dev. This is a character from ME1 who says this to you. My money's on Balak since odds are, he's willing to sabotage the war efford just to stick it to humanity.

Then again... I'll seriously lol if it's Chorban.

I'd go with Balak before Chorban. Chorban sends Shep a message about the Keepers and he figured out the cycle has repeated itself and the time for it happen again is now. Like Shepard didn't know that already in ME1. Liara says it on the Normandy.

Rana's my second choice after Balak but a balak rematch is just too epic to pass up.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Balak actually said something like that.

You can't kill Conrad.

But Toombs is a different matter. He even threatens you in ME2 (over email...).  Would be my best guess.

Would suck if it was the Rachni Queen. But why send her emissary to Illium?  Even so, she gets number 2 spot.

It isn't Fist... he is in ME2 and doesn't seem too threatening.

I would imagine it isn't Shiala, Parasini, or Helena Blake... all had cameos in ME2, doesn't fit in with them.

Thanoptis... egghead, not a killer.

Ethan Keong... doesn't seem like the type.

Major Kyle is in prison or the psych hospital.

Nassana is already dead.

In ME1 there are only two characters that I would hate to have to kill ever again and that is Shiala and Wrex.

Rachni queen, Toombs, Fist, etc etc ... kill all of them in a heartbeat but those two? Crap.

Wrex is one of my favorite characters so it would be brutal to kill him ... "Hey Ash! Kill him please ... I can't!"

Shiala's death was just too cruel and heartless as she got on her knees before Shepard, execution style. No honor in that killing so had to back out of that one and not save. I would have forever hated that Shepard.

For story-telling purposes it would be great if it was Wrex or Shiala ... really Wrex would be the biggest impact for me. And after throwing my controller like a three-year-old across the room as my old friend lay dying in ME3 I would not be pissed for long IF the reason and situation made sense and was honorable for the old krogan. If he goes against Shepard because of his people's survival? OK with that. If he goes against Shepard because of INDOCTRINATION? Controller is thrown in oven, I jump in car and head to Bioware for some serious butt-whooping! Okay, maybe not that but I will be bummed.

You can't kill Conrad.

If you renegade in him in ME1 he gets killed.  If you punch him in ME2 or don't talk to the weapons dealer he runs off and gets killed.

Does that line really mean someone will come after us? Couldn't it fit a situation where someone is doing something they didn't want to do, but couldn't help themselves? Also it was hinted that the actual line might not be the one we were told as the real line tells us who the speaker is.

I hope it's not some insignificant character from some side mission.

Don't think it's Shiala though, she ssemed pretty pleased with Shep when they reuinted in ME2.
