How convenient, they're the ones who I want and the only ones I'd find it believable for (interesting that Kelly's and Liara's romance's can exist simultaneously with no harm to either in ME2).

Yea. They seem to be amongst the few characters that would be down for that. Everyone else would have difficulty w/ this, but I'm sure they would be able to come around.

The Vorcha are given some positive portrayals here and there unlike the Batarians though.

From what we've seen in the ME series, the vorcha are little more than opportunistic scavengers.

Even if looks did matter, which they do not, the lineup for that would stretch all the way around the block.

In all seriousness, I was ready for a Vorcha squad member. I think I wanted to rebel against the game's patent presentation of them as nothing more than slobbering, slimy villains.

Vorcha ? Positive portrayals ? *Gavorn laugh*

I would say it's actuallly the other way, Vorcha are just irredeemable according to Bioware !

On the surface one would think so but there's that CDN story about them rebuilding a Hanar colony that was wrecked by a comet and that one news announcement on Omega about how they can be turned into productive citizens.

I don't recall any positive portrayal of Vorcha in ME2 offhand, but I don't recall much negative either. They seem mostly like a lower life form, though I think they're kind of cool because of their impressive healing abilities.

Batarians on the other hand a almost constantly portrayed as terrorists and EVAL and all that.

...I'm assuming this is off-topic. Hoping, anyway.

Mmm... no. A squadmate
is too big of a jump. Show me a few vorcha people first. As in
vorcha who aren't snarling monstes, who can speak intelligently, who
aren't just clever animals.

I can't. But that didn't stop me from wanting one on my team.

@ Random Citizen - I do not assume that everyone SHOULD be monogamous, however, in case of ME LI's we've met so far are not interested in sharing (and I HAVE mentioned possible exception of Kelly and Liara earlier, multiple times no less - partly due to that scene you get with Liara and Ash/Kaidan in which they unequivocally state that they will NOT share, to the point where they will feel better NOT in a relationship at all as opposed to sharing)

its not even a matter of "they never said otherwise, so its possible to expand their portrayal" becasue they did. have you noticed all the hoopla about Ashley's outfit. OUTFIT. we're not even talking dialogue or anything, just outfit. and a lot of the criticism is due to something she specifically said, about preferring good hard armor and a big gun. Changing character's outlook on relationship and monogamy is much MUCH bigger then an outfit. and harder to justify, unless you go with "oh to hell with what they were, we'll just rewrite the characters the way we see fit" every time Bioware tries that? oh the backlash, my god the backlash.

either way - its far too late to request anything like that for ME3 and good thing, that. they messed with existing characters enough as it is.

and your Shepards are going to have to make a choice.

Lets not dig ourselves into trenches. I believe it is possibly to expand the portayal in such a way IF it is handled well relative to the character in question. In a way that keeps its integrity and makes it belivable.
Ash for example would need to change more then most and of course this means it would take the A LOT work and skill to pull of. Given most choices and outcomes it should of course be impossibly for her to change her view on things.

When it comes to these things being part of ME3, I now there was never much hope. Just a fools hope.

(BTW of course people should wear approriate armour and suits for the missions. Aromur with ****** is bad enough :()

Yeah I would support. I mean it should be done tastefully and not like random threesomes...but like all members involved should actually LOVE each other. It shouldn't be like "let's have random sex". That would be odd and tacky.

Like someone said it should be true to the character. I don't see someone like Kaiden or Ashley going for that. In fact if you suggest that in the first game, when you have a love triangle encounter between either Liara/Ashley or Kaidan/Liara, they decline.

Yeah I'm going to have to pass on this.

One realtionship is hard enough. Why add more problems?

It's pretty clear that Paragon Shep's story is building up to a massive Asari...meeting of the minds. Shiala, Liara, Samara, Asari Councilor....

Just kidding, of course. ~_^

Eh; it was introduced in ME 1, but only Liara was up for it, so it'd probably end up as a "no", especially if you romanced Tali (one person is bad enough, but two?), or Thane (doesn't really seem the type for it), Jack would probably be against it or immediately assume you were using her.

So not really. ~_^

It would be hilarious if a First Days Mormon complained at Bioware for the lack of polygamy.

Its not about marrige. And if some religious fundamentalist group complained about mass effect ("its immoral" "there is no polygyny", "the Turians and Assari clearly there to lure our young away from gods law and toward the devil etc"), I think few would listen.

I think it'd be funny to watch if you could have a threesome but i probably will just stick with the one person thing.
