Anyhow, either way people WILL be dissapointed so the whole question is kind of redundant.

As long as they aren't space-elves like some people want them to be, I am fine. Though I might never look at Tali the same way I do now.

Redundant? Du tust mir damit so weh!

I don't think she will be, though...but if she was, I wouldn't mind...the whole relationship is about looking past the mask...
I would rather her look ugly than look like Night Elf in Space (that's assuming I had to pick either or, and not what I want: an alien face that still looks good)

Sure beauty is in the eye of the beholder but let's say Quarians are damn ugly, what then?
From the placeholder (assuming the face is anything like the placeholder under Tali's mask):
1) Quarians have two eyes of similar shape, distance apart and location on their heads as Humans do.
2) Quarians have a nose of a relativey similar size, and location on their heads as humans do.
3) Their voices are almost identical to human voices (the slight change *may* be down to some comms unit built into their suits) so their vocal chords/mouth is likely similar enough to Human's too.
4) Tali says she wants to feel Shepard's skin against hers. Implying she has skin, not fur or scales.
So, she might have some ridges, different coloured skin etc, but they're likely going to be around the Asari-level of alien, rather than Turian.

My opinion on the quarians and Tali won't change because I see their faces. I would be upset if they make it so you can never see what they look like. I would take it as a cop out, and being lazy.

I some how don't think Shep would give that immediate soft smile when he removes her mask if she was hideous...there would at least be momentary shock on his face before he gathers himself up again if that was the case.Stardusk78 wrote...

Or Shepard was just fighting back a burst of laughter over how silly she looks and didn't quite hide it perfectly.
Or Shepard has another taste.
Or Shepard just mused over the fact he'd seen her and you not.

This is what Quarians look like:
LOL.
Side note --
Uhm, anyways. If they end up showing Tali's face {or any Quarian} I highly doubt they will go for an ugly appearance, especially for Tali. This is why:
Fans who are curious will be disappointed no matter what. They will be expecting something either bizarre, ugly or beautiful. Thing is, those who expected her to be ugly will also be disappointed if she is ugly. Because there's a million different types of ugly. It probably won't be what they had in mind. Same with bizarre, there's a crapload of ''bizarre'' looks, and when someone says they imagine her to look bizarre, it's probably not even the same bizarre they will apply to the face.
Whereas if they make her look appealing, {not to mention plenty of players chose her as a LI), she will probably be a different type of pretty than what players who wanted her to look beautiful invisioned. They will probably be disappointed too but still content because she turned out to be pretty either way/nice to look at.
So basically if BW goes for ugly, the players who wanted ugly will be mad that she looks like Squidward instead of Plancton or viceversa. If she looks like an alligator instead of a moth. If she looks like earwax instead of a booger.
If BW goes for pretty, I don't think players will care as much if she looks like uh, Mila Kunis instead of Natalie Portman.
Just a little opinion I wanted to throw in there.
AS FOR THE TOPIC AT HAND/TL;DR
I will be sad if they make her hideous.

Or he had been looking up "quarians without suits" on the extranet and slowly adjusted himself to whatever's underneath the masks.

Turns out that they are Geth inside their suits; the uprising was more successful than many had realised..
If only that were true.. would add some delicious extra hypocrisy on their stance against the geth.
