I would have a good laugh, followed by making fun of every Talimancer on my friends list. xD

I evil laughter'ed at that.

Anyhow it would indeed be very interesting to see, in case Tali's hideous as humanly possible to design, how her appeal might change, especially within the folds of the current TaliMancers. Most of them aren't superficial, but very ... territorial on her behalf, leading to some nice data un covered thoughout that process.

I automatically assume that any humanoid creature with chicken legs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle hands is ugly so, no.

I like the Asari, I really do.

But I don't want another group of space elves. If they somehow manage to make tali good looking but not particularly human-looking...I will be pleased. If not, oh well.

Sure they do. But a platonic "AWWW, Who's the cutest turtle in the whole wide world? Yes, YOU are!" type of love. Not a **** in my pants type.Image IPB

I would be happy that they resisted the urge to make another race of beyoootiful space elves. The asari are bad enough.

This pretty much.

Shepard's got a good poker face. Can't really back out when he's there, lest the Quarian mafia break his kneecaps.

I honestly don't think that would be possible with me. Unless they came up with something that's really repulsive and vomit inducing by any standards.

I don't care whether they are attractive or ugly so long as they 'fit'. Really there is no reason they should be any one thing over the other anyway, there is no reason to my knowledge that they couldn't be attractive (beyond 'but the Asari...' and 'lol space Elves') but equally there is no reason they shouldn't be ugly either and it would certainly provide a nice twist to that romance.

However, personally I'd like for them to be 'normal' and not excess in either direction. Alien to our eyes but not without appeal, sorta like Turians are to some of us. And more than anything they should fit the image the writers and artists have devised for them in their head from day one.

Not even if it's a talking skull that's writhing with tarantulas and other type of creepy-crawlies?

Sure beauty is in the eye of the beholder but let's say Quarians are damn ugly, what then?

Ah yes, "Ugly Tali". We have dismissed that claim.

Based on what we can already see through her mask, Tali has normal shaped eyes, nose and facial structure. We can make something of a solid assumption that her mouth is vaguely 'normalish' since Shepard found it kissable. And since Tali stares affectionately into his face quite a bit, human appearance isn't too far off Quarian scale either.

So the chances of her face truly being 'hideous' is about nill. Not to someone's personal tastes is another matter entirely. I'm okay with that possibility. Or never seeing it at all. What's under the mask won't change Tali's personality.

They are apparently the only race aside from humans with hair, right? So if they went asari + hair.... that'd be a human with off-coloured skin?

I don't want that >_< Prefer them to be ugly in that case. Heck, I must admit I'm not liking the idea of looking past the mask for two reasons. One, it ruins the mystery. Two, I'd start getting problems referencing what a quarian looks like in my head. To me, their masks are their faces =D

You know what I would like? Some similarity with turians.. I mean, it's not like dextro-based life is all that common, they have to have more in common than the same number of fingers, right?

I'm still crossing my fingers that we, as players, never get to see what Quarians look like. I prefer the mystery.
