Actually Garrus isn't physically attracted to Fem Shep. He's drawn to her personality.

While I don't play as Fem Shep and haven't done the Garrus romance, I have seen all of the romance cutscenes on youtube, and Garrus struggles to compliment Fem Shep because she's human, and human features aren't appealing to Turians. 

Garrus: "If you were a Turian I'd be complimenting you on your fringe. So your..uh..hair looks nice. And your waist is....very supportive."

He doesn't know how to compliment her because the features he finds physically attractive in a woman (like that fringe) aren't present in human females.

This is not how evolution works... Take bipedalism, for example. You´re saying something like: "Because birds and humans both walk on two legs, they should have similar heads."
Or take sharks and dolphins. They do look largely the same and yet they´re pretty different from each other. While evolution may result in similar phenotypes, the way that phenotype evolved plays a huge role on the details.
This is even recognized ingame. Turians, for example, are, on the face of it, pretty similar to humans and yet their faces look nothing like a human´s. It wouldn´t be any more logical for the quarians to have, for example, lips than it would for them to have beaks.

Their evolution made them lose their immune systems within less than 300 years. That phenomenon is completely foreign to human or, perhaps, even terran evolution in general (flies breed and mutate pretty fast, though).

I probably won't care.  Either way, i do not think that Bioware will make them ugly, at least not in general view. However i am sure that some will find them not to be to their liking or many, or whatever.

If someone thinks that Tali is a closer representation to their physical ideal of a woman, that's their business, but her face is entirely beside the point. You're not supposed to like it; that's why it's hidden from view, so no one has any preconceptions about the character, or the quarians in general, without talking to them.

by that logic, a chihuahua and a tiger should have the same face because they share the same body plan (horizontal body with 4 legs and a tail)

meerkats and bears can stand upright (not all the time, of course, but this is just an example) and they don't have the same face as us

even other primates don't look exactly like us (similar, yes...but not photocopies) 

granted I'm not asking for the quarians to look like Cthulhu but I also don't think they should be Night Elves either...
