Those look great Bioware should look at those instead of the Human/space elf fan art concepts, who ever made those deserves a lot of credit

The best thing is that those aren't fan concepts. BioWare made them. They're in the Mass Effect concept art book.

Garrus wasn't physically attracted to femshep, he has no fetish for humans at all. His entire relationship with femshep revolves around respect. It might grow into something more in ME2, but for now its a respect based fling.

This actually brings up some cool questions about relationships in turians. They have little regard for art, respect craftsmen, military is completely tied to citizenship, apparently relationships can be respect based. Very cool.

Although my last point stands, I stand corrected As I've only seen the youtube romance scene myself, didn't know of any previous dialogue.

And to get back to the Quarians, I'm against the idea of the space elves as well, but I won't lose any marbles over it. Also, I'd suggest anyone who keeps pining for a hideous alien to go hit on the Rachni Queen.

The best thing is that those aren't fan concepts. BioWare made them. They're in the Mass Effect concept art book.

Aren´t those Geth concepts?

But then most of these can´t happen anymore, since we know that Quarians have two eyes and a nose. Space elf is still in the game. I don´t know what to think about that, though.

Theres a couple in the bottom row that look identical to the final quarian design. Seems likely they had quarians in mind and were extrapolating what a quarian-built machine would look like,so it's intresting to note the more humandoid like ones as they probably more closely reflect quarian anatomy.

Of course, if quarians reflect GETH anatomy, quarians might well be a cyclops

The geth "eye" emulates the quarians light on their masks.

Quarians and geth DO look a lot alike. If you put a metal plate where the visor would be, and get rid of the hood Quarians would look like a different kind of geth.

Whatever Quarians were originally supposed to look like, they will undoubtedly be presented according to the desires of Talimancer focus groups. Bioware's already on thin enough ice after DA2. If they ruin the Tali dating sim aspect of Mass Effect, they may as well pour gasoline all over themselves and do cartwheels through a matchstick factory.

The Geth share a lot of characterics with the Quarians their creators, hands, chicken legs...

I expect Quarians to have something of a pin head, like the Geth, it also meshes well with their helmets, that is rather slim but long. And the females looooong neck, strangely, males have extramely short necks.

Also, according to Grunt, Quarians are tougher to pierce than Humans, Salarians and Asari, expect something of a crust skin.

All and all i'll be happy if they went with Predator inspired face

I would prefer the picture being ugly, in more of an Alien way.  She looks like some older women who dyed her skin purple.


Though if Tali's face was shown, im sure Bioware would go the cheap route and make her face look like a space elf, in fear that if they don't, CHAOS....will REIGN.......throughout these Forums....more then USUAL.

I don't use Tali as a squaddie much, so it's not really an issue to me. Though, Kal'Reegar has a sexy voice, so I wouldn't mind having that mystery unveiled. It's hard to find circumstances under which a quarian would be de-helmeted, unless you're going to link suits and do the deed. Since all of my Shepards are already spoken for, that would have to be a special playthrough anyway.

I never romanced Tali, so their looks will bear little meaning to me in regards to their species. Even if I did romance her, it would still bear little meaning to me, it's her personality that enticed people and what made me care about her like an older brother.

Tali has a nice bum and she's willing to my Shep's naughty bits. So all in all I don't think I'd
mind her being a lights off kind of girl.

On the other hand, I swear to God and all that is holy, if they make her a freaking space elf or something else hair-brained like that, I will start a riot! Pitch forks and torches and angry villagers!

I like mass effect for making the aliens, "alien". And not doing the whole Star Trek "Oh look me I'm and alien from a distant land, because my ears are pointy, golly, we aliens sure are different. I mean look at that fellow, he's got a wrinkly nose." No, in ME the aliens are alien! Floating squid people and what not.

I don't care if she's ugly, as long as she's Tali, and not a stupid space elf. Jesus! Is that seriously even a possibility? WTF?!

Well, it'd end up feeling like phantom of the opera. You've already gone that far with the mask on - will everything change once you've seen it for yourself? Shepard didn't even flinch for the tali LI scene, so it's unlikely that she's absolutely hideous.

From the reluctance casey's had regarding how to do tali's face(from the one GI article way back), I greatly doubt they'll go down the "omg ugly" route. I won't be dissapointed. It's just a face.

I dont think the Dev's will do that, and im pretty sure the Quarians are very much like humans in the face.
But to answer the question - not really, because i think Tali is cool anyway.

At this point, I'll be a bit disappointed if they reveal her face.  It's the same reasoning why many people find Victoria Secret more alluring than Playboy- the mystery is great.
