The protaganist's voice isn't completely terrible. In fact it reminds me an awful lot of Adam Jensen. That same low raspy thing.

But some of the other voices are intensely painful. And accents are all over the place. Like when you talk to someone with a texan accent in the middle of an arabian desert. And the guy nearest him is trying to sound like Nathan Lane.

I think I'll pass on the Velvet edition. That kind of scares me. But it does have a pirate pin...nah.

I'm pretty sure the PC has a different VA in TWII than in TWI, which is a good thing. I read somewhere that the dev company actually used people from within their office for the voice acting in TWII.

Here's a short video you might enjoy. There's a point in 2 where the devs actually poke fun at the voice acting from the first one.

I disabled the protagonist's voice. Mostly because I installed a mod to play as a female. Some voiced lines still get through though....hehehe.

That's priceless. I haven't run into that guy yet. Posted Image

Though most of the dialogue bits are hard to sit through. It makes me really appreciate what Bioware does since I never find myself checking my watch in any of their games. I could only imagine what John Epler must feel watching em. (since he just picked it up)

There were a few halfway decent cutscenes but drowned out by the plodding ones.

I found voice-over in Two Worlds 2 more palatable than voice-over in The Witcher 2. Those "Ooooodrin!!!!" retards still give me nightmares.

There's got to be a way to skip through that stuff...right?

What? John Epler just bought TWII? (Just went to look). Sure enough, I see that he did. We'll have to keep an eye on his progress.

And P.S. Waaa, I have to wait until next year for The Witcher 2 for XBox.

It wouldn't win any Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Best anything awards, really, but I still thought the console version was fun. Multiplayer more so than the solo campaign.

Did you play Two Worlds 1? I've said it before, but the PC's "Mayhap. Mayhap indeed." was quite laughable. You really must hear it to believe it, if you haven't already.

Never played TW1, but I thought TW2 was just horrific and I didn't even play it for more than perhaps, three hours.

Seeing that prophet woman in that ****** bikini was a real facepalm inducing moment which made me grateful Bioware is a bit more ... grounded ... with their fantasy outfits for their female characters.

Point me to one bikini in Dragon Age.

But yeah, Bethany is positively modest compared to your sister and the prophet in TWII. The Half Orc Assassin, Dar Pha is a little better. She's more modest, like Isabela. (You think I'm joking, don't you.)

What bikinis? Both the prophet and the sister wear dresses, unless Reality Pump unleashed another patch I'm not aware of...

Anyway, the whole thing between the protagonist and his sister was already creepy in Two Worlds 1, the second game takes it to a whole new level.

To be fair, apart from the cleavage and lack of underwear, Isabela's actually got most of herself covered.

The prophet's bikini on the other hand was just flat out awful. It was bad enough when escaping that dungeon and in a cutscene there's some bloke with some ridiculous spiky typical fantasy armour (...think DA2 champion armour x10), but I really have a hatred of bikinis in fantasy games since 99.9% of the time they make zero sense.

Well, it's not a bikini, but the prophet's outfit IS a bit skimpy.

I haven't touched the game in months so I kinda ... forgot.

Now it's going to stick in my head.

Admittedly, the photo isn't that great; I just Googled it.

Sorry, Alex. You'll just have some really...perky...dreams. I wouldn't worry about it.
