*ASSUMING CONTROL*

That would ruin the game and series for me. Is it confirmed there is multiplayer or not? Thanks for replying. Also when does the Mass Effect movie come out and the Mass Effect anime movie come out? thanks

Lets use this thread to discuss the latest MP rumours. What's a rumour? Any statement not endorsed by EA/ BioWare

This again? Last I checked, thus far multiplayer is only a rumor and there has been no confirmation from Bioware on it's existence.

From listening to interviews with Casey Hudson it sounds like they're not implementing multiplayer for ME3 but are considering it for future games.

Tad inappropriate don't you think Mr.Kusy?

Also to OP They have neither confirmed or denied multiplayer, but the impression we're getting is that it isn't likely to have Multiplayer in ME 3.

On a side note I'm not sure how having a Co-op mode multiplayer where you can have one person be shepard and the other be one of the crew members (They get unique dialogue options appropriate to their character that are just flavor text). be a bad thing.

Also I've yet to see a game be "ruined" with the edition of multiplayer. Not that I support multiplayer for ME 3.

Someone has to be at least a level 30 necromancer to keep resurrecting this topic. Dang!

Resident Evil 5? Unless you had a friend, you are stuck with a ****-for-brains partner A.I.

F.E.A.R. 3 made mandatory co-op, and look where that went.

Lost Planet 2: You had a very tedious boss-battle where you had to load shells into a large cannon solo-wise, making human players a requirement just to bypass it faster.

Dead Rising 2. Need I say more?

Don't know about you, but coop is not bad at all. Dead Island? Me and my buds were waiting for this type of game ever since middle school (we are past college as of now). What we really wanted was a coop morrowind/oblivion/skyrim, but dead island is the closets thing, and we are having a BLAST at it.

*Shrug* I'm not against the idea of multiplayer. It just needs to be done properly.

Assassins Creed is a prime example. A strictly single player game that added a successful (if flawed and incomplete, in my opinion) multiplayer experience. As long as it's done properly and doesn't detract from the original story/gameplay, I've got nothing against it.

My problem is it's mandatory EVERY OTHER FREAKING TITLE. I don't have the time to get the "perfect schedule" just to game with my buddies no thanks to a busy life. If I want to play a game solo, I should be able to do so without frustration. Instead, I have **** A.I. plaguing my experience, where I die because my squadmates aren't doing their job properly (i.e. Gears of War series, any Tom Clancy game, and Resident Evil 5 are the chief offenders.)

1: Oh god, this thread again?
2: How could something OPTIONAL ruin the game for you? Seriously.
3: We don't know if there will be multiplayer or not. If at all, it'll be DLC most likely.

Uh, that something optional has something called AN ARTIFICIAL TIME LIMIT. If I decided to buy the game at $19.99, I'm **** out of luck just because the community died out. In the case of Tom Clancy games, all that time spent on multiplayer could have been better spent making the partner A.I. better for single-player. I don't waste $70.00 on a game that will be a paper weight two weeks from purchase.

I don't understand, what does popularity have to do with YOU enjoying a game?

Uh, something called "I can't play multiplayer if there's no one available?" Reading comprehension that difficult? Seriously, is anyone playing F.E.A.R. 3 now for example?

Bioware would never make multiplayer required. If there's no one avaliable for it if it's optional, boo hoo?
