My source for this is an IGN article that quotes an Australian PC magazine.

Yes, we know.  That Australian magazine is EVERYONE'S source.

Yet they've confirmed ME3 will be at least as long as ME2. They didn't lie when they announced ME2's lenght before the release, so given that I don't expect them to lie about the leght of ME3 SP campaign either.

I'm glad you're here today, Isaac.

I hope your posts don't fall on deaf ears though. But for the most part they're going to.

You can add another pair of listening ears here. If ME3 is the same length as ME2 then I'm happy.

No deaf ears here. If I end up totally wrong, and my assumptions totally baseless, I'll gladly take a picture of my foot in my mouth for all to see.

I just don't think it's going to happen is all.

Fair enough.

I hope it's just Co-op. Having real people control your squad mates would actually be an improvement over the single player experience.
Online frag fests though? No thanks.

Do you have any idea of the tenuous nature of dev promises before a game is released?

No it's true.  And this is coming from someone who bought both The Witcher and The Witcher 2.  I love their games but they seriously are over-rated.

People seems to assume that a company giving out free DLCs makes them great(er).

More so when the free dlc is really sub par =]

Just to note when i said they're over-rated I was talking about ingame stuff.  Their character development and interactions are WAYYYYYYYYYYY behind Bioware.  However like I said in an earler post BW barely even patches their games so CDPR's patch schedule alone puts them ahead of BW as far as how much they improve upon and develop their games after release.

Hate to say this but I knew this would happen everybody in the other forum just wouldn't listen, I kept saying I had I feeling they were gonna add it but everyone was just to stubborn to accept it.

We don't know that.  Mac Walters is still writing.

And even if Walters were a bad writer, Weekes is super-effective anyway.

I think you mean is.  I would have been tempted to get rid of half of the writing staff after ME2.  The comics have done nothing but confirm those fears.

This is NOT the first, or second BW game to have MP.

Amusingly enough the very first Bioware game to have multiplayer was....the very first Bioware game ever.

I think what we have here is the classic example of a company wanting to become larger and sell more to a wider audience but are totally forgetting their base crowd. Dragon Age 2 was a worrying hiccup i thought but now with this i see Bioware are no longer a developer i can support. Bethesda stay strong!

As a player that considered TW2 to be the best game ever made, I still agree that free isn't always good:blush:

Shattered Steel is totally the perfect example of a Bioware game.

I don't care much about the news. Even if I don't particulary like MP, I'm going to buy the game regardless, I want to play myself the end of the trilogy. For seeing if the'll be some consequences for SP, the only way is wait and see when the game come.
And the PowerPlay magazine isn't only quoting the Australian magazine. They talked with Hudson about MP.

y'know what I don't get is why some people would think MP in a SP RPG a (great one at that) would be a "killer feature" thats like buying a new car and calling the GPS it comes with a "killer feature"
Lets just hope the MP is like alloy wheels... optional then I can pretend it's dousent exist pretty much like I did with AC

No, Mac Walters is head of the TEAM that's writing.  Yes, some of that writing will be done by him.  But not all of it, and absolutely not most of it.  That ain't how it works at Bioware.

No, not b/c of that. And I won't state them here, b/c I don't want to go off topic, as you said.

What other BW games had MP? I didn't start playing video games until KOTOR had come out and I don't remember any after that having MP.
