Hey guys,

I've been trying my hand at a little modeling (mostly trying to import existing models into nwn2). I'm using Blender 2.58 with the Blender 2.5 Import/Export plugin (http://nwvault.ign.c...ls.Detail&id=94). It is to note that I'm using the 64bit version of Blender.

I've had moderate success so far. I followed Olblach's tutorial in importing, editing, and exporting an existing Obsidian model (P_HHM_CL_Boots01). Although there seems to be a bug with the "export selected", I was able to export by eliminating all unneccessary objects and exporting all. The result worked, I was able to preview it with MDB Viewer and within the editor.

Now what I've been trying to do is simply to import an item model (crossbow in this case) into blender, and then to re-export is (just to make sure everything works and that my parameters are correct).

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do that so far. I keep getting an error:

Image IPB

My suspicions are either that I'm using the wrong version of Blender and the plugin is incompatible (given the previous error with the selection, I wouldn't be surprised).

Or that I'm not using the right parameters, or forgetting to do something before hand.

Does anybody have a good NWN2 and Blender tutorial that covers the addition/modification of wieldable items?

Any help would be really appreciated.

There are only a handful of folks who seem to know all the particulars with modeling. Hellfire, Artechoke, Semper....probably some others. I spent a day looking at this once and my head almost exploded.

You could search the RWS forum for some tips:
