The end of her nose has been squared on the end, Hollywood style. It looks smaller now. Isn't she like a crusader for feminine power and stuff? Then she gets slashed and candied up for her image? Doesn't make sense to me.

Is it fashionable to dress like an attention seeking ****** nowadays, I just ask because I ocassionally return from travelling all of time and space and have difficulty adjusting to contemporary trends.

Heh, made me laugh. I suppose she's really another manufactured pop icon, one in a long line of plastic idols that teens and young adults are encouraged to embrace. Well, she can sing, I'll give her that. I'm sure her ginormous schnoz added to the ressonance of her voice and all. Where I draw the line is when these pop icons want to be role models for society. Please. I mean you let your face get carved up by a scalpel, and you have the gall to preach about empowerment?

If a nose job has been had (that first image is really poor quality), you're making the assumption that it was done for beautification purposes. It may have been done for health or well being - deviated septum, chronic sinusitus etc.

So too, if someone does want to get plastic surgery, that's their call and doesn't take away from their philosphy of life.

I think a better 'before' image is called for before saying anything about it.

It's poor resolution and she may have had a cold.

You can really see how much she's grown by the two pictures. Her makeup is ten times better in the second.

The extreme focus on women's bodies in our culture is both stupid and harmful.

Also, you just started a topic about a woman's nose. You actually expect people to have a conversation about the nose of a woman we've never met.
