Hi All-

Recently installed ME2 after a long hiatus from the ME universe.  I have the Collector's Edition, and with it came free DLC for the Collector Armor and Rifle.  I downloaded and installed it (along with the other DLC), fine and dandy.

Once I'm on the Normandy, though, the Collector Rifle doesn't appear in the Inventory in the Ship's Armory.  This is especially weird, as the Collector Armor does appear, and I can use it.    I'm playing as a soldier, so my character can definitely use assault rifles.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?  I've already tried reinstalling the DLC, and that didn't work.

Sounds like the DLC is only being partially mounted. All i can suggest is deleting the DLC, and reinstalling it refresh, perhaps after re-downloading it as well.

Thanks for the advice. I tried it, and unfortunately it didn't work.

I just noticed that the same thing happened with the Cerberus gear. I have the armor, but not the shotgun.

Did you check your private terminal for the emails?
It could be a strange bug where you have to read about the weapons in your private terminal before they actually become available in the weapons locker.
Apart from that, only thing I can think of is to do Garrus's or Mordin's recruitment missions to pick up the Vindicator/Carnifex and see if the addition of a new weapon will forcibly refresh the weapons locker and give the new weapons out.

Well, everything began working properly shortly after your last post. Seems a second clean re-installation of the DLC worked.
