Edit: And Thane is very spiritual, I think that he was talking about her soul more than her body, but of course this is my guess.

I can't help but think that part of the asari "appeal" is that they are using some sort of subtle means, perhaps pheromones or even biotic fields, to influence the perception of people they are with. (I still don't get how biotics even translates to mind-control, but hey, if Morinth could do it, who's to say that all asari might not possess the same ability to a much lesser extent?)

No.

Humans shouldn't be considered physically attractive by most of the other species, because from their perspective humans are aliens. Why would a Turian for example find a human woman beautiful, when the features he'd be genetically programmed to find attractive wouldn't be present in humans?

Outside of the Asari, other races shouldn't look at humans and think "Wow..hot!"

Those guys are all humanoids. Krogan and turians probably shudder when they think of us naked. To them we probably look like ass.

Might want to check your deffinitions. Krogan and Turians are both 'humanoid'. Those others do closely resemble human traits, though.

Different strokes for Different folks the Asari Share traits of alot of species And they spend a few hundred years in "Freak" mode so plenty of other species find them attractive. The more in common traits the more attractive you find that species.
