I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but I'm also not sure which one is, so humor me please.

Do I need to have Darkspawn Chronicles installed in order to keep Blightblood? I really wasnt impressed with the DLC and I dont want it to be a waste of my already crippled memory, but wouldnt mind keeping the sword.

Thanks in advance. =]

Yes, the DLC must be installed for Blightblood to remain in-game. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Its still a great sword at least. though never use poison on it or you will lose its permanete poisoned attribute.

How could anyone hate the Darkspawn Chronicles? I thought it was great. I wanted it to be longer.

I also really enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting it to be so much damn fun slaughtering all of your friends and companions, but it sure enough was. I also thought the ending cutscene was pretty epic - the Hurlock Vanguard is one BAMF, and Alistair obviously isn't (as if that were a surprise).
