I understand completely with you but you see there are two kinds of summer movies. There is Transformers 2 and then there is X-Men: First class. Orci and Kurtzman were responsible for Transformers 2 and Cowboys and Aliens, JJ Abrams for the physics defying Super 8 and the nausea inducing Cloverfield, although his work with Star Trek was pretty good. If Mass Effect ends up like Transformers 2 my rage will consume the world in nuclear fire.
Oh you mean X-men first class with Xavier having hair .... As A X-men Fan that was blasphamous beyond words but that movies saving grace was you tend to forget about the fact once Fassenberg and The guy playing Xavier get going and playing the characters. Of course there is whole Scott younger Brother some how being his Older brother and on the team before him thing and breaks it too. Xavier, Magneto and Shaw kinda saved the movie - other that - it is in the same cateorgy of X3 and Nothing i have seen to date is as bad as X3 mabye expect The Blair Witch Project( Still want my time back on that one I saw it for free)
Matter fact as X-man fan all the X-men movies were complete Trash to me - They are classic examples of a movie taking oneself too seriously. First class gets a pass because they portrayed that relationship between Erik and Xavier so well and showed the root of their conflict and Showed that Xavier way of thinking has its own faults
As far breaking laws of physic well Sci fi has been doing that for years - I mean some how Spock Dies in Star Trek 2 but is brought back to live in Star trek 3. In Sci- Fi you eventually going to come across something that is mind bending our basic comphrensions of the Cosmos is going to say "Hey that can't Work" and Mr. Alien is going "Orly watch me" espeically if you start playing around in the Quatum relm. As long as they don't break their own establised rules with in universe the created.
