Actually, thinking about Skyrim, I think I have to elevate that above even ME3. Mining, actually working for people, roaming the countryside, allowed to marry people...yeah, that's at the top.
I really don't care about the combat myself (don't take that wrong, not saying anything about you, just saying that I'm apathetic). I find the unparalelled open world exploration to be insanely amazing.
This. If you're playing an Elder Scrolls game for the combat then you're playing it for all the wrong reasons.
I find roaming through the countryside with my trusty bow and arrows, sneaking up to an enemy and shooting it until it's dead without the latter even noticing me, very amusing. Not the most spectacular combat I admit, but very amusing nonetheless.
