Actually, thinking about Skyrim, I think I have to elevate that above even ME3. Mining, actually working for people, roaming the countryside, allowed to marry people...yeah, that's at the top.

Skyrim is going to have to do something special with the combat system to get me to play it like I did Oblivion. I just can't do another 500 hours of *cast random spell with random name and everything dies even at +100 difficulty*.

I really don't care about the combat myself (don't take that wrong, not saying anything about you, just saying that I'm apathetic). I find the unparalelled open world exploration to be insanely amazing.

This. If you're playing an Elder Scrolls game for the combat then you're playing it for all the wrong reasons.

I find roaming through the countryside with my trusty bow and arrows, sneaking up to an enemy and shooting it until it's dead without the latter even noticing me, very amusing. Not the most spectacular combat I admit, but very amusing nonetheless.

 It's my most anticipated game even though there are a lot of great games I'm waiting for, I'm glad they moved the release back otherwise I'd have my focus spread out amongst multiple games rather than focusing on ME3.

I'm not going to disagree with you that in a way it's an MMO for lonely people, but I think that the world of each TES game is a lot more detail and gives you much more freedom. For example, I have a 200+ profile on Morrowind, but I never actually finished the main story. I know this is going to sound insane to some, but I spent most of time trying to see how far the game would let me push the idea of freedom, from breaking into houses, to stealing things right in front of shop keepers with telekenises, etc. At one point I decided to make it my mission ot break into every house in every town I could get away with, steal every pillow I could find from each respective home, and then build a big pillow fort out of them on the outskirts of Balmora.

Doesn't sound insane at all. Sounds fun.

I spent a lot of time turning my house(es) into museums of my achievements...with loot displays.

1. Skyrim - With over 500 hours poured into Oblivion, and who knows how long into Morrowind, This is my most anticipated game at the moment, by a large margin.

2. ME3 - If ME3 and Skyrim were released on the same day, then ME3, but at the moment, I can't see past 11/11/11 (skyrim).

3. The Old Republic - Very wary of this. Has so much potential to be great. When I heard that Bioware was in charge, I wept for joy; KOTOR's were works of art to me. Then I heard it was an MMO. Then I played DA2. Then I just wept.

4. There is no 4, there is nothing else in the near future that interests me enough to spend money on. Another Fallout, Dragon Age in the distant future would get me excited, but they won't be for some time.

I'd be looking forward to Mass Effect more if it came out sooner, but with all the other games coming out between now and March it's kind of on the back burner for now.

im more excited for skyim then ME3. and im a HUGE ME1 fan, prolly one of the biggest in the world, no doubt. ME2 ruined my hopes for the trilogy so im not really excited at all to play ME3, just more excited to finish the trilogy. ive only played about 10 hours of obvlivion too, and i gotta say skyim is going to be a great game for me to play over the next few years, just like ME1 was.

uncharted3 is a buy for me as well, just not excited for it, im already aware of it being consistent with the first two games, just newer and better. its not like uncharted 3 is going to have enemy protections or planet scanning BS.

Somewhere toward the middle or bottom of the list, not because I think the game will be bad, but because my enthusiasm for upcoming game releases is relative to the nearness of the street date. So my enthusiasm for ME3 is still tepid, since it's 5-6 months away yet.

No problem. I'm not particularly surprised by the results either (this is the ME3 forum after all), but it is nice to see so much anticipation for ME3.

though of those ME3 is the only one Im 100% sure I will buy ( well I already payed the full N7 edition off so, "did" buy) Skyrim, though I think I could play that a whole bunch, I'll get off gamefly first, and as much as I have liked the story in AC games, they are one play games for me, so again that is a rent on gamefly.

old republic is a mystery to me.. I really am not a very big fan of MMOs so I can hold off alittle until enough friends have given me their feedback knowing what I like inh games in general.
