4.) Tomb Raider
5.) Halo Anniversary (I know, I know...)
Uncharted 3 would be on there if I had a PS3.

1. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
2. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
3. Mass Effect 3
****Honorable mention and close to ME3: Dishonored, a brand new IP
I'm astonished myself where ME3 is on this list, for I loved Mass Effect. It was like falling in love with video games all over again. Virmire blew the top off my mind. While I'm glad looting, skills, weapon modifications and a greater economy are returning to Mass Effect in ME3, what we now see is a focus on saving/rescuing Earth for the millionth time, extremely linear levels with merely an upper and lower level (earth demo was immensely linear), a cheap and corny melee attack defiling the omnitool forever, rail shooter sequences (and shooting at a Reaper nonetheless, for goodness sakes...) and in general just way too much shooting.
I don't play MMO's, but I wish the series would have went the way of The Old Republic has but for single player and not Gears of War with Halo and Call of Duty welded in.
So, for me, Mass Effect 3 is third and unless I see severe epicness as far as storyline before release I'm just going to purchase Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, a huge open world and robust fantasy rpg with traditional God of War-esque action combat and deep writing and story and guilds (see new guild trailer) that has been developed with so much tender affection and care it puts Dragon Age to shame............and wait until Mass Effect 3 comes down in price.
While I'm happy with the customization, statistics and rpg elements out into ME3, I'm generally displeased and disappointed with the direction of the game and the series and have been ever since EA's first leaked official description of the game. I don't enjoy third-person shooters which story's focus is saving earth. I don't like third person shooters---- period. I thought the ME series was different, but now it wants to be like the games that I don't like and therefore don't play....which is one reason why ME was so amazing to begin with.

I'm surprised it isn't more uniformly #1 for people. It is for me.
Skyrim is a solid second.
I'll wait to see what happens with SWTOR (have always been disappointed in MMOs that promise a fun single-player experience and typically hate the other people playing them).
Otherwise, nothing has really hit my radar screen yet.

AC Revelations
ME 3
COD MW3
Max Payne 3
Tomb Raider
Thi4f (some time much much later but I've high hopes since Eidos-Montreal is doing it and they have been doing good stuff)
I would have put ESV Skyrim somewhere in there but I was not impressed with ESIV Oblivion so it's not on my GET! list.
