I don't know how many people also have noticed this, but everytime when I use a Sniper Rifles (ex. Widow) the game slow down a bit and the sound and voice all sounded very weird, like their frequecy have been severely reduced.

The same problem occurs when I'm using my Soldier's Adrenalines ability. As this function "increases Shepard's reaction" by slowing the game's pace a bit, it also causes the slowdown in sounds. The other characters' chatters and dialogues will sound very creepy at this moment.

I'd like to know if this problem can be solved at all. :blush:

You must not care so very much about any possible solution, since you chose to leave out everything that is needed for diagnosis.

Including adequate information in a problem report, ME-2:

It is not a problem, infiltrators get time slow down similar to soldier ARush, and the effect is everyone else goes slower including sounds. This is just the natural effect created by the time dilation.

No need. The game was designed to do this so there's no solution.

I have no recollection of the voice audio clips becoming distorted, although I remember that the graphics went into slow motion.  Admittedly, it's been a long while since I last was running ME-2 . .

When you go into slow-motion the audio has a lower pitch. Slomo happens when you use the soldier's adrenaline ability and when you zoom in with the sniper rifle as an infiltrator.

No, I don't think so. Slow motion should only apply for the graphics, but the distorted sounds do not make sense. At least not when you're using a Sniper Rifle. We all know ME is suppposedly realistic, and you see at least one user here do not have those slomos.

Alright, I'll see if I can update anything related to my hardware here. Before that, I have to tell you that this problem occurs everytime I apply a Sniper Rifle aimer.

As mcsupersport and fredvdp have already said, there is no problem. Time dilation effect of Soldier's AR ability, Infiltrator's scope spotting, and after effects of one of the evolutions of Vanguard's charge, applies to both sound and graphics.

If you cant be bothered believing the people who have been playing, and supporting, this game for nearly 2 years now, you can either;
a) Read the thread that Gorath provided the url of, and then post a full error report as per the instructions contanied within.
B) Go away and deal with EA support.
