I do have to admit that last bit about me is pretty funny. My daughter would've appreciated me having the platypus though. She's big on Perry.

haha, <3 perry!

You know man, I've been round and round with people on this forum, and I typically stay out of these fights anymore. But when people start talking about hating, scumbag, too cowardly to say anything, I'm going to pipe in. And IMO, once people start saying crap like that, they kind of lose the moral high ground. lol

Stay frosty people, and until next time!

"My only qualm with you over time has been that you're probably the least effective troll i've stumbled across around the webbernets. Reading your stuff, it's too easy to ignore you and not get riled up to respond. That's bad form; work on your trolling."

Tell that to your friends getting fired up! :D

Which is why I only mentioned links that were dead (I have zero idea why copy/paste works but not clicking, aside from the malformed first link) and the potential fraud. Of course, you'll be fine since ebay doesn't give a crap about service for anyone on either side.

Man, that's a fact. As long as they get their fees, they could not care less.

I have to wait till mine gets to the UK :(

Ah well, they seem to have been getting quicker and quicker, hopefully it won't be that long. I can tell when it's in the UK when the tracking number they give me which is only for the in UK part of the journey goes active *checks* .................. nope, not over here yet.

Oh well, I'm in no rush, the longer it takes the longer before I remind myself how much plexiglass cut to that size costs :)

Wow, so they seemed to have kept the lower numbers for the final selling? Maybe the stack was backwards :P

For the record, I collected mine today and it arrived perfectly (thank God!), numbered 6/500! So well happy with that! My lowest edition I own, on now my favourite Lithograph!

The sheer size of the thing is immense compared to standard lithographs! A very happy fan and customer! Thanks BW store!!

Has anyone got any bright ideas on how to store the mega sized team ones flatly before framing?

Oh, and mine came in the last few days, perfect apart from one tiny tiny tiny corner bend which I almost didn't notice and will disappear once flat, number *goes to check* 39.  At least I think it's a 9.

Congrats you two! It seems that the numbers of the remaining liths were from two batches as the numbers have ranged between 5-10 and the 30s.

It's great to know that everyone who has reported in so far (minus the eBay scalper) arrived undamaged.

ThrakF, you make a good point, in preparation to framing mine, I've always laid my lithographs onto a flat surface flattened by books...so I'm not sure about this one as it's just too big!

Hyrule Gal, out of interest...what are you planning to do with yours? Do you hope to frame or store it? Congrats again!

Oh I've framed mine already, it was a bit tricky though.  The frame I got was designed so that I could only put it in horizontally (didn't know that until it was shipped to me)!  So I laid the litho flat with some heavy books on it to prepare it beforehand, but no matter what it still had curved ends. Definitely a two person job, even with help I kept missing the gap in the frame trying to get the other side in .  Putting a poster in a picture frame shouldn’t be so damn stressful! LOL But it looks great and can’t wait to put it up on the wall.

Nice! That was quick! Lol! Certainly sounds like quite the job to get it in, but I'm sure the results are worth while! Be sure to take a photo of the finished product all hung and proud, as I'd love to see how it turned out! It's amazing how even just a frame can personalise and finish the Lith in different ways!

Picked up my Team litho from a local post office a few days ago. One of the lids that secured the tube are missing. This is what my package looked like when the post office worker handed it over

i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff3/MaxiMusiaka/DSCN0322.jpg

Started a support case with THB and they replied that no replacements were available. Considering that I had a similar situation when my ILM/normandy mini litho set came damaged and was out of stock, bioware offered me to replace it with an item of equal value. When I suggested this ( I wanted a liitho that costs $30 as a replacement) I was replied with a "this is a final sale" messege from THB. Considering that I shelled out $80 for this plus $7 or so for shipping I find it rediculous.

Damn...it would seem strange that the lid would come off. Mine was secured with tape and then blue security tape over that.

Regardless, I would think that if the item was damaged, the store would have measures in place to exchange the damaged Lith (for another item) or at least refund the item, considering that it was not your fault.
It does seem the responsibilty lies with the store to replace/exchange/refund the item. I remember when my parcel was lost in the post, they replaced it no problem. Although my item was still in stock, it would make sense that if they can't replace it like for like...then they could at least offer an alternative item and failing that a refund...especially considering it may have been damaged by their negligence.

So is the lithograph salvageable? Although not ideal, could you trim it and the image still be framable (and in that case, maybe they could partially refund you?)

Sorry to hear what happened though?

Just out of interest, what number was your Lith?
