1.) i was wondering if skills have a bearing in conversation (obviously coercion does) like they did in NWN2, or KOTOR 2....in NWN2 for example there was a point where you got dialouge option only if your spellcraft was high enough. this is one of many examples, also many in KOTOR II. i realize these are different games, but it was a good idea then and i was wondering if DAO would have a similar set up
2.) realizing no one should have played the game yet, how many levels do we think the player will get in their origin story
trying to plan my character, any help here would be nice, thanks
2 questions (may have been answered but should help all)

1: There is Coercion(skill), the attribute 'cunning' increases the persuasion half of it, and the attribute Strength increases the effectiveness of the intimidation part of it.
2: People have played, though I am not one of them so I can't give you a definite answer there, sorry.
EDIT: Misread your first question a bit. class, race, specialization, and gender all might change how people speak to you, or change what you can say to them.

From what i've hear from reports......you should be level 2-3 when done with your origin, not sure about the first question.

I read a Dev post saying that your class and specialization will also have an affect on dialogue.

That's what I've heard as well. A solid level 2 pretty much no matter what and if you manage to find/complete all the quests, then a little ways into level 3

I believe that skills do. My cunning skill gives me options in dialogue that I believe I would not have if it were not high enough.

I loved how persuasion worked in KOTOR and Mass Effect, hope Dragon Age is similar to these two.
