When I play the Dragon Age : Origin - Ultimate Edition (PC), I don't see the version of the game patch anywhere.  I installed from 2 DVDs.  I want to know if I have the latest patches for the Ultimate Edition.  Where can look for the patch in the game or from the DA program files and how do I update the patches either for the Ultimate Edition bundle or individual games contained in it (Origin campaign, Origin Awakening campaign, DLCs)?  I want to have the latest bug fixes, content additions or game improvements that patches usually bring.  Thanks for your help. There aren't any patches for the UE on consoles, but I think there may have been a small thing for PC. It's nothing major. Think it had something to do with logging into the servers or something. Check out the PC tech support forum to be sure.

I wouldn't expect any patches, especially those that might bring content addition. The Ultimate Edition was named that for a reason.

I don't think we need any patch for the UE, because it has been already patched to the latest version (1.04). So don't bother so much about the game, just play it, OP

Good, I'm glad that the DAO UE already came with the latest patch 1.4, other than the BETA 1.5. I don't have to worry about the patch for now. Too excited to play this, starting with Origin campaign. This will be my main RPG PC game, successor of the Neverwinter Nights Platinum RPG PC game. Thanks for your responses.

Just a regular human noble warrior, maybe become a paladin later. I still have to read more on character advancement, like in NeverWinter Nights, it's nice to plan ahead what your character will be at the later stages, what attributes to increase, what skills/talent/spells to take, etc... Is there a thread or website link on different character builds?

The Dragon Age Wiki is a good start.

Thats one of the better setups.
If you go Tank you wont have to worry about a npc tank at least. You can make dps tanks btw ^_^

I do suggest working towards getting your coercion skill maxed out since as a noble it will give you better dialog options.
