Volatile- unpredictable. She doesn't conform, and she doesn't like Shepard, she likes what Shepard's quest can give her in the way of entertainment. The suicide mission is an extreme vacation for her.
Short answer? No.
Prove otherwise. Morinth herself stated the things she enjoyed, darkness, killing, danger. Shepard's suicide mission: killing, darkness, danger. The ultimate vacation for someone like her.

That's true - but she loves a SPECIFIC band and a SPECIFIC artist - she's very picky, he just isn't her ideal match. She wants to join but not desperately.1136342t54 wrote...
She does it because she sees Shepard as basically the best person she can meld with in the Galaxy and he saved her life. Probably more because of the former. Seriously you are claiming she doesn't want to meld with Shepard but what is the other reasons she stays with Shepard? Sure Shep saved her life but thats it. Morinth has no real empathy for anyone nor care for anyone else. Hell even D.Kain admitted that in a earlier argument.RagnarsGirl wrote...

But seriously, she has to get along with other squadmates and mask her presence, it's not good at all.

Justicars or regular Asari likely thousands of years before Samara became a justicar created the code. You rarely talked to Samara did you? The code tells them to stop injustice. The only times Samara's code could be considered wrong was when she was facingMorinth. To Asari Ardat Yakshi are incredibly dangerous individuals who if start killing people must die. Justicars are likely ordered to pursue them at any cost but due to the code they have to ignore specific things. Spectres like Justicars kill innocents to accomplish the mission. Samara's main mission was to stop Ardat Yakshi killing those cops before she loses the information would likely be the same thing a Spectre would do. The only difference is that Spectres operate under council authority so they can go anywhere.
Also Samara wanted to hunt her daughter because that same daughter started killing hundreds of innocent people.

In a word: yes. In the conversation with Morinth in Afterlife, she mentions that she's drawn to dark, dangerous places. When you recruit her, the last line in that scene is:

It's clear that Morinth is manipulative. I wouldn't put it past her to use Shepard for her own amusement as she already managed to convince the commander to help her murder her own mother.

That is also false. AY do not HAVE to kill at all. Seriously reread the codex. The only time they began to get addicted was when they start killing. Before that they aren't addicted but tempted by sex.

I don't have to re-read the codex - its not right that they kill innocent people, but having a genetic order that can't be helped is not fair. They wouldn't be like this at all if they could help it.
It's a vicious circle. That they were thrust upon GENETICALLY.

No Morinth could have fled and not killed anyone. Morinth's sisters never killed anyone. If they were actually forced to kill people then all AY would be killed the second it was found out they automatically wanted to kill people. It's a vicious circle. That they were thrust upon GENETICALLY.

If you are born with a genetic disease(AY) the by products(killing) of having that disease is not your fault or in your control.

Yes it is your fault. Look if you have a genetic disease that will kill people if you sleep with them then you don't sleep with them. If you know you have the disease but then sleep with them that means you are knowingly killing them.If you are born with a genetic disease(AY) the by products(killing) of having that disease is not your fault or in your control.
Your reasoning is as stupid as people blaming guns for killing other. Guns don't kill people people kill people. There always someone who pulls the trigger. This AY situation is no different.

It is basically the same. You know what I would do in that scenario? Not meld with the person! By not melding I wouldn't be responsible for killing that person. Melding is basically pulling the ****ing trigger. If my child was told that if she had sex with someone she would kill that person then I would expect my daughter not to ever have sex. If she does have sex even told to not do it then she is murdering that person and deserves to go to prison.
I don't envy her position at all but it would be her fault if she have sex with someon.
Edit: Seriously do you actually believe it isn't Morinth's fault?
Quick scenario say your significant other wants to have sex with you and gives you a deadly STD. Would you blame him/her for your eventual death or the disease?

Actually the Monsters genetic disorder does not MAKE her kill, it just kills someone when she has sex/mind meld with them. It is only when she kills for the first time via that way, in which she starts an addiction, the more and more she kills, the more she has the urge to kill. But it was the choices she made which caused her to kill. Don't get fooled, she choice to be THE MONSTER.
Hypothetically, she could have lived a non-killing life, even with the genetic disorder, as long as she did not have sex with anyone.

It's clear that Morinth is manipulative. I wouldn't put it past her to use Shepard for her own amusement as she already managed to convince the commander to help her murder her own mother.
Keep in mind that Samara says Morinth would run. That's corroborated by the fact that Morinth was smuggled off Illium. Morinth being cornered is the only reason that Samara ends up dead.
Also the quality of being manipulative can show that Morinth hasn't fallen too far from the tree since Samara convinces you to embark on a quest to kill (not capture and detain) her daughter.
It's concerning that some people trust Morinth to care about their character when evidence shows otherwise. After all, Nef trusted Morinth to care about her. Look where that got her.
What evidence? Shepard is capable of saying that an investigation will be carried out, but an investigation never occurs. We go from "we'll launch an investigation" to what essentially is entrapment. Also Nef has no relevance to anything other than she's the "innocent "girl". That ploy is old and I should have seen through it before.
Someone mentioned in the other thread that Nef doesn't fit. It's something I've asked myself before. If Nef is such a dull girl from Omega how does she gain the attention of Morinth who is "drawn to dark and dangerous places"? How does she manage to get the code that lets her into the VIP section in the first place despite her nature? I question the validity of Nef being some lowly creature in a place like Omega that's about as rough as anything, but whatever. I'd like someone to give me some answers as to why Nef.
@AnAccountWithNoName
Seriously, you're in a Morinth fan thread. If you want to keep calling her "the monster" do it in the thread you made when you could have discussed her here. It's trolling. It would be like going to the Ashley thread and calling her "the racist" every time you post. It's unneeded.
