We don't know that. Imo AY could probably mate with other AY.

I don't see where they can even go, so little was established about her. Her outfit is just an asari commandos, so what variation could they even include thats identifiably morinth like garrus' new armor is?
How would she even interact with the squadmates, who may or may not know she still exists?
What personal quest could she have? We know nothing about what really fuels her. I expect very, very little: It is a waste the character, the voice actor and.. just a really, really big waste.

I dont expect her to be a temp companion--I just expect a cameo.
It depresses me a little.

I hypothesize her being able to overcome her condition with aid from the Rachni if you saved them.  Would make a nice twist for a continuation like that to occur.  There could also be a chance pairing with Shiala if you saved her since she's not what she used to be.  I wouldn't like that much, but I'd be willing to see the outcome if they wrote that in.

Honestly, they can go in any direction they want because of how gray Morinth is.

When I first posted on here I was going with the 1% A-y thing not shooting for family loving.
That said Since I do not know are A-Y produced from any Asari union or only the Pureblood type??

Might be a story in there if it happened to be only through Pureblood, and that A-ys could actually mate and produce a non Ay offspring..(just being double taboo and highly frowned upon in asari space) Too bad i can not write heh as you can see from my posts sigh

So how do you guys hope they continue Morinth's story in mass effect 3? I'm hoping she'll stick around with shepard and maybe be a kinda stalker with a crush (she has shades of this in mass effect 2) or maybe have a plot line where you help her break free the other Ardat-Yakshis from confinement and recruit them for the war effort, and hopefully she'll explain the whole "genetic destiny" line, i'd hate for it to just be some spur of the moment lie to try to get you to choose her

But... the "genetic destiny" line is exactly that, a figment of a deluded woman's broken mind, a desperate grasp at relevance.    Procreation is the only true "reason" for life, and Ardat-Yakshi are sterile. She kills because AY disorder makes her feel good for it, and she justifies it as her being the ultimate form of Asari life. The destiny of a species being unable to reproduce? Some destiny that is...

Besides, there aren't THAT many Ardat-Yakshi, and needing one's enemies to sleep with them in order to die is a bit too involved and difficult to arrange in a galatic war with an army of Mecha Cthulu.

That's the difference between intelegent life and unintelegent life. Unintelegent life lives by basic instincts to feed, survive and breed, the goal of unintelegent life is to procreate. Intelegent life on the other hand is above instincts, intelegent life decides itself whatever it wishes to live for. Nature ends where intelegent life begins. 
Again we don't know enough about AY to even say that they are completely sterile, if that is the only important thing to you.

Well they are not completely random. And we don't know enough even about what kinds of people those were.

I don't even think that Morinth kills random inocent people. If she will try to do something like that I am going to stop her. But if it was for her survival, the people are already dead there is nothing I can do about that, killing Morinth will only make it worse, since she can help stop the reapers, and since she didn't put herself into that possition to begin with.
