you know they aren't going to, bioware doesn't care about choices that people made, they went with whatever was easiest to do, thats why there's always a rachni queen, why jacob always knocks up that chick, etc, the reason morinth got turned into a banshee was because it was the easiest thing to do, anything else would have required a little bit of effortbobobo878 wrote...
they had better fix this with DLC. >

I was very disappointed when I looked up her role in ME3 after finishing the game and found out this.
Sorry Morinth fans, you have my sympathies - I honestly found her an interesting character and would've liked more to have been done with her.

Does anyone know if her sisters are saved if Samara's alive?
One of them.

One of her sisters (Rila) is partially being controlled by the Reapers and sacrifices herself to set off a bomb a group of commandos were going to use to wipe out the monastery.
The youngest sister (Falere) ends up surviving (if you choose to Paragon Interrupt Samara because her emotions and the demands of the Code conflict in such a way that she tries to commit suicide.) Because apparently if Samara goes through with it, renegades have the option to callously gun Falere down.

Serves you all right for killing her mother... now the reapers have one more banshee. She devoted her life to controlling, torturing and killing. It is fitting that she ends up as a mindless thrall with no special powers. Genetic destiny my ass.

Oh don't limit it to her mother. I'd have killed Liara, Thane, Jack, Tali, Garrus, Joker, EDI, Grunt, Wrex, Kaiden, Ashley, Kasumi, Zaeed, Miranda, Vega, Jacob, Mordin, and anybody else as well as all of the above.

I know. That's why I like her.

Seems certain writers at Bioware have a habit of writing dialogue that superficially sounds cool, but makes no damn sense when you actually think about it. Sort of like the entire Synthesis explanation.

In fact to add to this list I consider the canon ending to Mass Effect 3 that Shepard sees Morinth, walks away, and finds a nice spot from which to sit and watch the galaxy burn in her honor. So in effect I killed every advanced organic lifeform in the galaxy for her. Cheers.

It's a shame really, her voice is sexy. Mass Effect 3 needs more space vampire and less pregnant zombie.

I think what hurt the most was that her story was never really finished. Bioware gave us a chance to explore her side of the story and beyond. There were big trust issues with her history, but I really liked her. I felt that as Shepard if you gave her a second chance you would get to see what comes of her in ME3 from an emotional perspective as Samara's succeeded in this installment. To be honest this topic was one of the most talked about in the ME franchise. You could see when I started the thread 7 months ago that people were really voicing their emotion and Samara fans got in with their opinions. The whole ME universe of fans were divided by these 2 characters of complete contrast. Each fan had it's justification for one or the other. It was complete mayhem. Who was right in their choice. Could Morinth be the genetic destiny of the asari? Was Samara right after all? Could Morinth change as a person give the second chance by Shepard or would she slide back in to her old ways? I think you are write in what you say when we will never get Morinth back, but I do strongly suggest at least some more journal entries in the DLC of Morinth to see if she really did change for the better or was she still killing and enjoying it and took shepard's kindness and manipulated it.
Bioware please I think I speak for many if not all Morinth fans, we need more closure!

They couldn't even be bothered to give her a dossier in LotSB, so I don't hold out any hope for anything. From the beginning the character has been sabotaged by copy pasta gameplay and a dirth of legitimate content. It's sad since throwing away Morinth cheapens Samara as well. What was her life worth? A few emails and a name change.
