One of the things that lots of people miss from Origins is, in fact, the origin stories. Despite the benefits from fixing a main character, many interesting elements are lost when you impose a protagonist. I think it's perfectly possible to make a great, memorable fixed character, but that was not the case of Hawke. Of course, it's my opinion (and the opinion of many other players), but I think the reception was mixed enough for Bioware to rethink their presence in future DLC or the no-officially-announced Dragon Age 3.

You said Dragon Age Origins was broken in some aspects and needed some serious changes; as sometimes has been stated, many players complained about different things (e.g. slow combat). Now, Hawke is being critized at the same (maybe more) level. You have good reasons to forget about her ^_^

Following Legacy style (fix people/press complains about combat and game's flow), you could bring us a DLC with a complete new character. There are many interesting things to do: a silent one like the warden, or a fixed well-known companion or NPC. I would happily pay for a DLC with Varric, Orsino or a Qunari as the main protagonist ^_^

And, please, do not bring Hawke again for Dragon Age 3..., it's more or less confirmed that she will appear in the game, but I really hope is a little non-important cameo. One of those that could be avoided, too ^_^

Let's try to avoid the inappropriate comments, such as wishing that a fictional character dies of aids due to unprotected sex. I shouldn't -have- to make these sorts of comments, but I apparently live in a fantasy world where people are respectful and civil.

And this from the guy when asked not to show such a double-standard and drag a topic off-topic responded by being snarky and telling anyone who didn't like it to get off the forums?

If you have a problem with the moderation, please feel free to message Chris Priestly.

If you're just going to pop up from time to time to refer to our past interactions sans context in some bizarre effort to paint me in a particular light, then I'd recommend against that tactic. It is not likely to end well.
