I mean, he/she can resist batarian poison on Omega, krogan rynchol at the Citadel and wakes up without anticipation on Lazarus project and it took alot of sedative to make Shep asleep again, not to mention he woked up earlier in Arrival, what can be the explanation for his/hers unusual toxic resistence? Opinions please cause this one I cannot answer...

Lazarus project implants (or plot armor) break them down?

Because Cerberus remade Shepard to be more resistant to poisons and drugs like that. Shepard is a Cyborg Zombie now, lots of tech put into that body. Probably less likely to get sick now too. Also, Biotic Shepards got an upgraded implant.

Twitter is your friend

Q: Shepard's remarkable constitution (poisons, sedatives, alien alcohol: all effects diminished) Lazarus tech? Genes? Other?

A: Lazarus tech. The Cipher. Prothean Beacon. And general all around badassery. - Mac Walters

What part of the game is that line from?

(PS, Shepard was already a badass.  Then Cerberus installed upgrades.)

It's from Deus Ex: Human Revolution not Mass Effect.

Lovely.

There were likely a couple of upgrades that Miranda managed to toss in without TIM riding her for it. She likely covered them under "protection of assets" or some such. She's a clever girl.

How about he's the main character and it would suck to get a game over for taking the wrong drink on the citadel.

Well you could also attribute it to the N7 program, in the military your trained to deal with rough interrogations. They could have built up their resistance to things like poisons and such in case of capture. But I'm going to lean towards the obvious plot armor, its funny to see Shepard get drunk, but obviously it cant kill them.

I wouldn't put it pass TIM to resist putting some of the experimental "super soldier" stuff in Shep. Image IPB  He wanted Shep to succeed against the Collectors so he definitely would see to it that Shep be given the augments. Probably not the whole package though.

Well two of the upgrades you can get in the game that would make sense as "in terms of story" happened as part of the Lazerus Project. That being the Heavy Bone Weave which makes his bones practicly unbreakable by reiforcing them with a sythetic material (thus explaining how Shep can use the Widow) and  the Heavy Muscle Weave which increases strength.

The reason I blieve these upgrades probably happen during the Lazerus Project is since to get this upgrades afterwords Shep would have to go under extensive sergury, which is seems unlikely during the events of the game.

They never quite tell just how much of Shepard is cybernetic. From what we've seen, from the commander being hacked in Overlord and able to take over a LOKI mech in Arrival, I'm going to say that Shepard's body is more artificial than organic and thus not as affected by foreign chemicals introduced to his/her body.

Agreed. Also the Kestrel Helmet is a blatant sign that Shepard is more like Robocop/Darth Vader than simply Human.
