The first time I played, there was an orge (or was it 2?) at the battle for Redcliffe - the town battle itself. This time through, no orge!!?? AFAIK, I played on Normal diffleculty 1st time thru; I know that this time was on NORMAL.
One difference this time is that I'm a significantly higher level since I did the Elves/Werewolf quest, as well as Soldiers Peak, Stone Prisoner, and Return to Ostagar before going to Redcliffe. (Both times I did the Tower Mage quest first).
Has anybody else seen this? Was I playing on "HARD" first time through??
thnx
MikeK
No orge at Redcliffe this time?

There was an orgy at Redcliffe? Wow. I thought you had to go to the Blooming Rose to participate in one of those.
I only recall fighting ogres at Redcliffe on Hard difficulty.

There's not supposed to be an Ogre, or any darkspawn in general, during the Redcliffe zombie attack quest.

I think he means when the darkspawn attack Redcliffe following the Landsmeet.

Not sure what causes that. I assumed it was because one of my allies got to those enemies before I did.
I think the difficulty level affects how hard the enemies are to kill and how friendly fire damage is calculated, but don't think it affects the actual numbers of enemies. Maybe, but I've played on both Normal and Hard and did not really notice much difference in the numbers.

If that's what he meant, the Ogre is either at the bottom of the hill, near the Chantry, or the last enemy to enter the gate of Redcliffe Castle.thats1evildude wrote...

That is probably what I was remembering when I recalled fighting an orge in Redcliffe! It's been awhile since my last playthrough. The orge was on the hill just up from the Chantry.
So no orge in first battle at Redcliffe is normal, I guess.
