Super Castlevania IV (SNES)- The Super Nintendo had no shortage of great action games, but I have a soft spot for Super Castlevania IV. It was my first Castlevania game, and I loved it. Few games make you feel as badass as Castlevania does. And after playin this game I went back and played the previous ones. I am a huge fan of the Castlevania series.
Megaman X (SNES)- Same reason as Super Castlevania IV. Went back and played the Megaman series, and most of the games since then.
Street Fighter II: The World Warrior- Street Fighter II spawned the modern fighting game genre and revitalised the dying arcade scene. Fighting is my favorite genre and I grew up in arcades. I went to an arcade every single day of my life growing up. It's the reason why I'm a gamer.
The King of Fighters- The King of Fighters is my favorite fighting game series, I love everything about it. The gameplay, the characters, the story, the soundtracks, the scene. Iori Yagami is my favorite video game character. The King of Fighters has always been my favorite, and with the way KOF XIII looks it seems it will stay that way.

Playing pretend with my younger brother. Although a girl, I was taller, so I played Hook to his Peter Pan and we'd fight with sticks out in the yard.

Which one ?
I remember a few more Intellivision ones:
- Utopia – Remember how you could run your ships into the corner and it would show up on the opposite corner?
- Auto Racing – It was so fun finding the shortcuts through the trees!
- Poker & Blackjack – This one was really not that fun for kids our age and we didn't really know how to play the different card games, but the fact that our parents forbade us to play it (gambling is eeeeeevil!) made it fun.

- Monkey Island: I was particularly proud of myself when I finished it, I was 6 and it took me all summer (had some help now and then of course)
- Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow: I played it with my best friend at the time, I moved Donald around while he attacked and used the abilities. We somehow never managed to finish it...
- Pretty much all the other Lucasarts adventure games: I even had fun with Monkey 4... probably because I played it with my brother, my best friend and a friend of my brother
- Yoshi's Island: best platform ever, I finished it at least 4 times (it kept resetting my saves...)
- Ultima IX: I was older here, I think 13, but it was my first RPG and I loved it. Also, it gave me a reason to learn english: I played with a dictionary at hand and the beautiful cloth map next to it
