Rather it be this way than the other way around. I'm sure a lot of us wanted to be wrong. I certainly did.
EDIT: Though I will be really sore if I have to pay extra for it. I'll buy it and I'll only be half as happy. Yeah, I know... can't make anyone happy. C'est la vie.
The thing is I didn't understand why some people seem bent on believing that bioware would just give Ashley one set of armor that is light when they know how people complained about Miranda to the point where they made a DLC armor for her.

"Will Ashley have actual armor in Mass Effect 3?”
"Yes, a fem. version of blue Alliance armor we've shown on Kaidan."

You are correct. Her hair is definitely not getting in the way there. I actually like her hair not in a bun..The-Person wrote...

I'll only believe that say-so about Ashley getting actual armour when I see it. :/

No it isn't. If it's damn well confirmed they can at least show a picture of her wearing armour, not magical bullet proof leather and heels.

This would be unwise and unnecessary.Ser Bard wrote...
As they've said their sticking her in Kaidan's armour I'm inclined to believe that's what they're doing.
My question is will it be a DLC or something that is included in the base game?

Ashley’s armor wasn’t bullet proof in Mass Effect 1, no matter what people say. It was the Kinect Barrier which stopped the bullet from hitting her in her intro during the Eden Prime scene. So, you mean that kind of magical bullet proof? You know, the kind that can stop bullets but still allow someone to sit down without knocking a chair over? That kind of magic?
And Ashley wasn’t wearing heels. She had wedges, small ones at that. In fact, the same height that Tela Vasir’s heels were in LOTSB.
And why do people feel so entitled?
“We want proof that she has armor!”
“Okay, I will say Ashley does have armor. In fact, the same as Kaidan.”
“I won’t take your word! I demand visual proof!”
Never satisfied.

Magical bullet proof leather and heels? Hyperbole was not needed. Gamers today feel too entitled to whatever it is they want to feel entitled to.Swimming Ferret wrote...

No offense but your reasoning for not trusting Bioware is for reasons that you can't really name plus an interview that may have taken out of context?Xeranx wrote...

Well the unfortunate thing is for some of us Bioware has taught us to only take their word when proof is available and we learned that lesson way too quickly. There are some examples and I don't remember them all. I do remember an instance involving consequences going from ME to ME2 and things not panning out that way. Then (though I don't remember what was said) there was an interview in which Casey said something that a lot of people felt was false. It's just all been snowballing since then.
Actually, looking back, it's amazing how fast we got to this point. For others it's troublesome.
