A thought on Ashely's new hair style

What I've said is still evidenced in the way people are reacting towards Bioware and some of the things they say. Some are not trusting Bioware as much as they used to. That is clear.

Ashley’s armor wasn’t bullet proof in Mass Effect 1, no matter what people say. It was the Kinect Barrier which stopped the bullet from hitting her in her intro during the Eden Prime scene. So, you mean that kind of magical bullet proof? You know, the kind that can stop bullets but still allow someone to sit down without knocking a chair over? That kind of magic?
And Ashley wasn’t wearing heels. She had wedges, small ones at that. In fact, the same height that Tela Vasir’s heels were in LOTSB.
And why do people feel so entitled?
“We want proof that she has armor!”
“Okay, I will say Ashley does have armor. In fact, the same as Kaidan.”
“I won’t take your word! I demand visual proof!”
Never satisfied.
I figured actual armour would kinda help stop bullets then leather. :/
And of course I'm not satisifed. I liked Ashley in ME1, but she looks stupid frolicing about in her current get-up-and-go. So yeah, I won't be satisifed until I actually see her wearing some armour.

LOL. That's one way to take it, I guess.

Magical bullet proof leather and heels?
Hyperbole was not needed. Gamers today feel too entitled to whatever it
is they want to feel entitled to.
Yeah, well there it is. I don't feel entitled to her having armour; I'm just not going to think Ash will have actual armour then that leather stuff she's wearing until I see a screenshot of it. Why don't people get that rather then being all "Boo hoo, feeling like you are the only one who matters bawwww" and crap?

Yeah, worked wonders for Richard Jenkins.

Good thing he was the classic "Die on first mission" and not an actual squad member then, eh?

Then perhaps he should have been wearing leather armor instead, eh? Since every single faction of realism must be accounted for. It’s just unrealistic! Armor should stop bullets and his didn’t! Totally broke my immersion.

Typical response. Some people want to pick and choose what faucets of realism they want. Either everything should be realistic or you realize it’s a video game and not every single aspect is going to be completely walking in realism. Were that the case, every character would have to be in realistic space gear. Your character would look like the Stay Puff Marshmellow Man floating around in space. Point is: Her armor isn’t going to stop bullets whether it’s a hard suit or the light armored leather. Her first line of defense will always be Kinect Barriers--as with any character. You just want what you think represents your threshold of realism.

Well you were being stupid.
So...by your logic, leather armour is equal to heavy plate armour? Hmm, we should make SWAT wear T-shirts the next time they go on the mission then...

I think the word was sarcastic. A term that some people have trouble picking up. And no, I am not saying that SWAT members--who are not a fictional organization-- shouldn’t be wearing bullet proof jackets. There you go bringing comparing real life scenarios to a video game that takes place in space. That seems to be the typical defense people use to build their arguments. If SWAT had ME technology, then maybe that argument would make some sense.
What I am saying is that it’s all relative. Especially in a setting where kinect barriers protect you from bullets. Where humans can use biotics. Where you can use tech armor and throw fire balls using Omni-tools and where you can bring someone back to life. Where Asari can kill you with their mind--yet they insist on using weapons! Considering all this, if Ashley’s armor breaks it for you…then yeah.

Okay, missing the point. Fairly badly, but whatever. I want to see a picture of Ashley wearing armour, not that crap that would be better suited for Miranda. Why won't I take Bioware's word for it? Because crap like Samara's outfit was 'amour' apparently and I want Ashley to be wearing thick, heavy armour, like what she wore in ME1, because she was a damn tank Soldier. That fact Kaiden, a Sentinel get's better armour than a Soldier is just stupid.
Just throwing out a damn screenie of her in that 'amour' can't be that damn hard.

Casey said Ashley was getting a version of Kaidan’s armor. So, he isn’t getting better armor than Ash is.

Why should they? Because you demand it? Hubris.
Zip it up and change her shoes and it’s about the same as Asari Commando armor.Because crap like Samara's outfit was 'amour'

Hey, people are asking why I don't take Bioware's word on Ash's armour. Because there is no visible proof of it. I though the Asari commando armour was stupid, but they weren't in my squad so I didn't give a ****. When it's a Tank Soldier who's running about in crap like that, yeah I'll b*tch.
I'll shut up when I see a pic of this illusive armour. But it hasn't so I won't.
