Looking for a mod to ensure Bethany survives regardless of player class

 Hi,

I have searched but can't find the mod I'm looking for. 
Basically I don't like Carver I think he is a whiny ****. I want to have Bethany survive and carver to die regardless of the player class.

Anyone know of a mod that will do this for me? Failing that, any advice on how I would accomplish this would be great.

Thanks for the link.

I'm not sure I like side effect of NPC's failing to recognize the PC as a mage. I wanted to be a mage with Bethany in my party.

You can do it with save editing, too. Make a rogue/warrior version of your character, then play through the game until you get to Kirkwall, and save your game. Then start up a mage playthrough, and again, play through until you get to Kirkwall and save. Open this new save, and the old save, in the GFF editor, and copy Bethany's party data over from the old one to the new one. You can delete Carver too, if you don't want him around, but the game plays fine if they're both alive. Leandra and Carver will still think Beth is dead and Bethany will still think you're a warrior/rogue, of course.

There's a thread somewhere around here with more detailed instructions and possibly pictures. Lemmie see if I can dig it up.

The core problem in any mod along these lines is that the game seems to have been coded not to set and then check a "who survived" flag, but instead to constantly check against Hawke's class or something along those lines.

Edit: addtalent 10000/20000/30000 method doesn't work; breaks down between acts like every other method.
