I just read in the wiki that Anders can get his "Vengeance" ability for free by doing one of his companion quests - "Dissent".

This sucks because I have already taken that ability...

So I do not *waste* another ability, can anyone tell me if there are more quests where ANY companion gets a free ability...

Y'know - this board is virtually useless when it becomes less about asking a question about "companions"...

And more about kids making endless "squee" topics about their favorite imaginary friends...

It happened to DA:O too - this board has become practically junk...

My topic was answered on another board... yet a mod would have moved it here... where it is uselss among the squee...

You probably should have asked this question in the "Gameplay and Strategy" forum. Because its a game-play question and not really a "Companions and NPC" Discussion. Yes, sure, you're asking a Companion-related question -- but you're asking about a game-play mechanic of said companion and not about a companion.

That being said, if no one answered your question, then It's safe to asusme that no one here knows.

On PC or at least my PC version Anders gets the vengeance ability for free if you dissent, but I'm not sure if this kind of thing happens for other companions. I don't think it does. I think only Anders gets the free ability.

It's an Anders-only thing. You won't get it for free if you taught him the ability already.
