It would be a great thing to have access to that mod - if it is indeed possible that it is open for sharing.

Either way, thanks for reading this:innocent:

Seconded. ;-)

It'd be cool to use the animation bit he did for little ramps and things so you could slide down hills mid-fight and stuff.

Okay, here goes....

First you must journey into a secluded wood and find a squirrel of pure white.
Then you must use the enchanted flute to make the squirrel dance the forbidden dance...
Then you must sing the forgotten song using the royal zither....

forget it. That will take months to set up.

Give me a few days to gather the scripts and convos and I'll drop box it. Hoepfully you can make heads or tails of my scripting.

With some extra scripting magic, the concept I use could be applied to that, but in its current state, it is only suitable for cinematic scenes.  I believe it would actually be very easy to adapt it to a more tactical use using functions that find locations and such, I just didn't implement that in my current scripting.

Hmm, that would work for me - and...

with some pointers on how to set that up -
...so happy!

Maybe M Rieder - you could post just some tips to get me started. I tried back searching for your post where you mentioned it but I couldnt find it.

It would be very much appreciated.

My apologies. I have been remiss. Tonight when I get on the toolset I'll export the scripts and dropbox to them. Stupid real life is getting in the way of the important stuff ;)

The basic logic of the script is to make the object doing the sliding perfrom a fall down animation (I can't remember which one specifically, it's in the script I'll send you later tonight) and then use the VFX_FREEZE_ANIMATION on it about 0.75 seconds into the animation so the creatue freezes in a good sliding position. After that is done, you just use ActionForceMoveToLocation or ActionForceMoveToObject() to make them move.

Remember that all the sliding I have in my module is cinematic. It's in a cutscene and I have prepositioned waypoints for the NPCs to slide to. A dynamic system is possible by all means, but will take a little more tinkering.

I'll PM the dropbox link tonight.
