The hard arse DI who uses out dated words, who is remebered with fond nostalgia but made their lives a living hell for 3 months (assuming Marine basic is still the same lenght in the future, and that same length as the ADFA basic):
This guy is asking for a Gunnery Sergeant Hartman reference. come on.
If I was Commander Shepard (I am by the way, and you're not), during my trial i'd call forth my favorite DI, and it would just make my day if he mentioned shepards proficancy at "sucking golf balls through garden hoses" during a... what is it... a war crimes trial or a court marshal? because if its that latter i'm going to poke out the judges eye's and get banned by the moderators
"where in the hell are you from anyway private?"
"Sir, New Zealand sir!"
"Holy Dog****, only sheep and wool humpers come from new zealand private Shepard, and you don't look like a sheep to me so that pretty much narrows it down."
And thus how Commander shepard got his/her name
and just while were on marines in media, does anyone else think is weird to have a game about marines (ok, i know Shep is in the navy but, come on, he/she's a ground pounder really) and we never hear the word (sound) oo'rah or Sember Fi? i mean i know its a stereotype but stereotypes exist for a reason.
Thank you for reading the musings of a madman

But if he's talking to his DI, he wouldn't call him 'sir'
"I work for a living, Private!"
Some of my favorite lines from basic training (boot camp for marines) were:
"Really, Private?"
"Are you eye-balling me?"
And then even though it was Army, we had to sandwich like the Navy.
"Drill Sergeant, No! Drill Sergeant!"
And let's not forget the discipline:
"Over your heads! Out in front of you! Over your heads! Out in front of you!"
Amoung others... X.x Ahhh! The good old days!

Semper Fi should always be an option on the dialouge wheel.

Make it the Renegade choice throughout the whole trial in ME3. Whatever those pesky lawyers and buddies can come up with, I am a Marine! Unit, Corps, God, EARTH!
Oo-Rah!

Any knowledgeable people around here that could check my prosa for errors?

three options that are needed on the dialogue wheel, Sember Fi, Oo-rah and brittish.
i would also like Shepard to greet with Gi'day... in fact whole game should just be Shepard saying Mate in different tones for the Australian localised version.
"Mate! *hurried and patting*" Translation- the reapers are killing everyone
"Mate *Sullen*" Traslation- they just killed my sister
"Mate *Winking smile and an elbow jab*" Translation- hey isn't that your ex, Ashley Williams? wow, she's not a one pointer, she's a goal; six points. you should see if you can mark it again mate
but anyway, Oo,rah and sember fi do it, or at least a platoon marching past chanting about how the genitals of an Asari are really cold

I bet the Gunnery Chief at the Zakera Ward Level 27 docks was orignally meant to be Gunny Ellison, but was cut content. The 'Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son-of-a-**** in space!' speech was just too awesome to cut however.
I'm just guessing though.
