Okay, I'm running on NA version of dragon age (xbox360 elite) with Downloaded content 'The stone Prisoner' 'The dark spawn chronicles' 'Return to ostagar' 'blightblood for origins and awakening'(NA version of DLC) okay everytime I hit the A button I seem to walk up some times it will attack sometimes it will completely make me run past the enemy or completely away, when I am attacking it seems to be 50% every swing I have a chance to just start positioning my self again but when it starts I completely walk/run in a diffrent direction I have also had the issue of my character walking even after my control has not had any joystick-clicks I seem to keep having this happen over 50 times to which I have died roughly 50 times due to this glitch, and the continuing walking when I have attempted to stop, it can be reangled to attack again but its so difficult I have removed and reinstalled all downloadable content in hopes of fixing this glitch its very bothersome and ruins the RPG experience I so crave, if I get any new info on this it will be posted however for the most part clicking A is now a coin flip, and very pissed I died 50 times at level 8 already. The targeting and movement seem to be the main reason of this glitch.

I think I know what sort of 'glitch' you are referring to, though it's not what you think.
The actual problem you are describing is basically a deadzone issue with the analogue stick. If it isn't set correctly on the central point then the game still sees it as movement. Experience tells me it tends to be movement towards the left with BioWare games on the 360 (the same issue also exists in the Mass Effect games). It is essentially a coding issue which, given how long the game has been released and no further patches for the 360 seemingly in the works, is unlikely to be altered.
Yes, it is very annoying. It can also interrupt spellcasting as well which ruins your battlefield tactics. It's also the reason I never bothered to play on a level higher than casual on the 360. Unfortunately it's something you'll have to try and adjust to.

Thank you, just don't recall this ever happening in the past when I played, I guess it could be my control as well. oh well only have to deal with it 3 times over and then on to DA2 which is better anyway. thanks

ine last mention I have pride in playing GOOD games on the best difficulty for the game and I have just a good time on normal if I put it on casual it would be too easy and lose meaning Bioware makes good RPG games and I shall respect it with playing how it should be
