Thunder Bay has a new Lord and so you have a new employer. Despite the promise of rest and recuperation he has one more job for you to do before you can settle down in front of that log fire for a few weeks.

Hal Tysans life is in turmoil, just a few short hours ago he was the only child of a dying father and a loving mother. In the intervening time his father has died, his mother has left his side and he has discovered he is not an only child. His elder half brother is dead, killed at the hands of yourself and your party and his younger half sister is living in a small village somewhere on the outskirts of the lands belonging to Crossroads keep.

And there, adventurer, is where you come in ...

Hal Tysan wants his sister back, preferably alive this time, and you are to go and get her. As ever you have help but with Honour returned to her stepfather, Solace pursuing her own goals and Harald facing the justice of Lord Nasher in Neverwinter your friends are looking thin on the ground.

Still; all you have to do is travel a few days to Crossroads Keep, pick up a five year old girl and bring her back. That can't be hard ..... Can it?

Because of the time scales involved I am going to release the last part of Tales from the Lake of Sorrows in three parts. Each will be around four hours of play time taking the campaign as a whole to around 24 hours of play.

It's taking 6 - 8 months for each section of the final part of the story and I can't wait another 12 - 14 months to get the last part out Posted Image

Thus the next instalment will be These Dark Days of Waiting followed by From this comes Strength and ending it all with The Vault of the Damned.

These Dark Days of Waiting is all but done and should be up on the vault next month ifThe Vault is working. The picture shows Four Winds Keep, one of the side quest areas (only one tree in a 12 x 12 Posted Image).

For those who are interested - and I know you all are. The runes in the corner of each image have relevance to the plot. They are taken from my runequest days and I am using them to keep the custom loadscreen count down. Each module has it's own rune and the loadscreen for each area in that mod is the rune associated with the mod.

Sheep and Stone shall have the fire rune - To represent your rise from obscurity.
The Caravn Club takes the movement rune - This represents the theme of the module and your own transisiton as a PC.
The Last Days of the Raven has disorder - Representing the chaos around you.
These Dark Days of Waiting takes the mastery rune - From disorder comes order and you reach tenth level.
From this comes Strength will be represented by truth - Truths shall be learnt and past wrongs shall be righted.
The Vault of the Damned shall be the death rune - In the end everything changes, you will need to bend ... or pass from this earth.

Ah-ha... so that's what you have been up to!

Looks good. And the way the story is unfolding, at least in terms of thematic ideas for the next chapters, sounds very interesting.

Agree about the breaking up into parts for These Dark Days of Waiting. Keep people playing, whileyou generate more content.

Harumph!

Oh no... this means... I'm still stuck with Ember, aren't I? I swear, by Dumathoin's whiskers, by the end of Last days of the Raven, that human lass was in sore need of a spanking.

Looking good PJ. Like the idea of the runes as well. Though the last one for The Vault of the Damned is a bit omoinus for my tastes. Settling down with Ember just got a bit more challanging me thinks :) Sounds interesting though.

I think that often in symbolism, death means change rather than literal death. That is how I refer to it here :)

The romance is quite a big part of this mod though not in a straight forward way.

Just a small amout more to do, squishing the last of the bugs and getting the closing cinematic right and I think I'm good to go.

Heh, famous last words.

Nice use of the Mulsantir entry as a fireplace, bookcase walls, and the rug as a table cover.

Thanks Kamal_ I was pleased to find the door way as I don't spent to much time with the mulsantir house placables. There's a very useful chimney as well (though I have not found a use for it yet :))

The flagstone hearth helps it a lot in game, it looks a bit wrong on its own.

Wow, I didn't even notice that stuff. Now that I look closer, that is really creative use of placeables. Of course, I have come to expect that by now. Your use of docks to make wall walkways in Last Days was what inspired the custom coliseum for TWA2.

Thanks M.R. I'm pleased you did not spot the placeables Posted Image

I love the dock placeable are you using the main dock or the slum dock? The main one has a lot of detail in it as you lift the placable up.

I was about to start Raven the other day while I was out on this job and notice you had two others before it. So will wait to get home to download them and play through. Hopefully your next installement will be ready by time I get to that point. What little I saw of the start of Raven I liked.

Yup, and she found it ...

All bugs now squished (I think)

BTP has it now and I am at the mercy of the voters.
