This is really weird... but here's my issue, and maybe it's a dumb license thing...

I have access to my DLC online (and possibly even offline) with my main GamerTag, however my fiancee doesn't have access to 3 DLC I recentl re-downloaded when she's on her Gamertag. I can solve it by being logged in on a second controller with my Gamertag, but it just seems a bit excessive of a work around.

I didn't get a new 360 but I did get a new HDD. The DLC I didn't delete off my old HDD and just transfered to the new HDD work fine. The DLC I redownloaded via my download history however is the kind being problematic. I was always under the impression that it was licensed to a console not an HDD, but is this what's wrong?

As far as I'm concerned it should be attached to a console (Gamertag and EA account as well) rather than the HDD.

You seem to have an idea of what to do anyway, but I would suggest recovering your Gamertag and performing the content license transfer for safety in that order.

After recovering your Gamertag, disconnect from XBox Live to see if the dlc can be accessed offline with a secondary Gamertag. If it can't then perform the content license transfer.

Links in sig.

Good luck.

Still having the issue after redownloads, etc. Afraid to do the license transfer right off the bat just for these 2 DLC. It's just funny that it only applies to these 2 and not anything else. As long as I have net connection and logged in (might not even need net connection) with my GamerTag on a 2nd controller my fiancee can use the DLC.

I already gave you the suggestions to troubleshoot it. It seems you haven't confirmed the ability to access the dlc offline yet so I would suggest you do that next. However, it sounds to me that the issue requires the content license transfer to fix it.

Require more information in order to help you. What you have leaves too many variables.

Did you have an old 360? I.e., did you upgrade?

What dlcs are you referring to? How did you obtain them? And what precisely do you mean by 'available'? What are you trying to do?

What storage device are you using?

Narrow down, post the info, and someone will likely get back to you.

The content license transfer should resolve most upgrade problems; the partnering thing to do would be to recover your Gamertag on the new 360 as well. Before you though, log into XBox Live with your Gamertag so the system records any changes before you recover; otherwise you may run the risk of losing some Gamertag info.

I take it the other dlcs you have are working fine (I assume they are for ME2 as well), and only the Firepower pack is having problems? Is it an access to using the items in the game issue? Or is it that the game doesn't recognize issue?

I confess that I never purchased any of that sort of dlc for ME2 so any suggestions I can offer are limited.

I just bought Mass Effect 2 for Xbox 360 from target and when I prompted to enter my Cerberus Network code it says " Code already in Use ". It's brand new game how could the code be in use already ? Target won't issue another copy either I was told by the store manager that just because they game dlc code is in use doesn't offer us the right to exchange for another copy of the game , Can someone help me out ???
