In the end, the following are facts.
1) The game will be stolen by people.
2) The game will be purchased by people.
3) Intrusive DRM mechanics harm legitimate users more than thieves.
Will anyone shouting actually get anyone's attention? No, because this is a method people have gotten used to doing. They'll accuse you of working for Bioware, or another company that has a vested interest without giving you any method of confirming you to be a fan of the franchise, series, company, etc.
The day I hear "Game X has been pirated" is the day I continue to breathe. (For those not following, piracy was common, still is common, and will still be common.) The sad part is that the overreaction from companies spills over to other markets, such as the RIAA, MPAA, and ISPs trying to clamp down on such things.
If something is genuinely worth money, then people will pay for it and in some cases pay MORE for it. Example being STALKER. STALKER was purchased by a buddy of mine. He bought a retail copy for himself, bought a retail copy for his dad, rebought it on Steam once it arrived for himself, and rebought it on Steam again for his father.
Good games generate a fanatical fanbase. Do well, and that's all you really need since the fanbase would eat out of your palm. See Pokemon.
