Everything about my DA:O works. I have been able to install all dlcs but Awakenings. When I attempt to install awakenings from disc 2 the machine starts to try to install but then says "Can't install one or more items."
I have played through the whole game with the current disc, played the dlcs (except Awakenings), cleared my cache and patched main disc first, registered the game with Bioware, and even tryed installing the dlc without being connected to the net.
Also, when I put the dlc disc in it attempts to dl a patch but never seems to go anywhere with it, this happens everytime with or without net connection.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not owning the Ultimate Edition myself any advice I know of is limited. I also sense a few issues you are raising. Could you clarify which issue you want resolved precisely please. That would give others more info to work with in order to help you.
The message you state you are receiving suggests a storage problem of sorts. As such I would recommend checking out things associated with the HDD first (connection, space left, that sort of thing).

The problem I would like to fix is, I would like to be able to install and play Awakenings. I have something like 203 Gigs left, im going to assume the connection is fine since everything else works (other games, DA saves and dlcs, ect.) The HDD is Microsoft and only a few months old. It is not an external drive or anything of the sort.
My machine is old though, I dont really know what edition or model. If you tell me how to find it I would be happy to get it, if it could help with fixing the problem.

Sometimes removing and reconnecting the HDD can solve problems (much akin to the manly solution of turning it off and switching on again which can prove surprisingly effective). It's also an official recommendation made by Microsoft in connection which that sort of error message.
Reading back on your first post I suspect that the second disc attempting to patch might be an issue (if any UE owners could confirm that it would be handy); Awakening requires patch 1.03 to run and UE should patch the game to 1.04. I'm not entirely certain whether your game is still patched as you mentioned clearing the cache, so I would suggest seeing if you can get the game to patch.

I will try the reconnecting the HDD and see if that works.
I also thought it strange that Disc 2 would try to patch even after Disc 1 had patched. Even now it still tries to patch even though its up todate. I have attempted to get Disc 2 to patch, I might try to clear my cache and see if I put in Disc 2 before Disc 1 if that may help.
Thanks for the response.
