Hi! :)
I already found some threads about this, but no thread seems to fix my Problem. I brought DA:O Ultimate Edition (DVD). I was so happy and looking forward to play the game but then I started the setup and it said: "Installer integrity check has failed". Setup won't even start! :(((
I tried to install it on my laptop - no problem. But my laptop is way too slow for this game... So I need to install it on my PC somehow.

What I tried so far:
stard as admin
compability mode
copy disk to hard drive and start setup

my op:
Win 7 Professional 64-Bit
& Blu ray ( if this is important)

Please help me, I really would like to play this game. :crying:

Thank you for your Answer - I'm a bit confused though. I think I have posted all the infomation which is needed. My PC should be able to handle the game - it seems to be a problem that I am using a Blu Ray Drive - but... Can this really be true?
Since I am not able to start installation - no Patch is installed of course. Maybe there is a workaround available for my Problem?

Actually the Blu-Ray drive may be the issue with the game, simply because some game disks are very particular on drives and firmware used by them. You may try seeing if there is a firmware update for your drive or any driver updates to start with. Does your laptop have the ability to network with your computer? I am wondering if you can install the program over the network or if you can buy a fairly cheap dvd drive and use it to install the game on your computer. Other option is to use Origin to DL the game if you can't get any of the above to work.

More information is always better, as my suggestions are a bit of a guess since some info isn't given....but it will probably be the issue.

Have you tried browsing the DVD-disc and start the .exe file from there? Sometimes this works. Not sure if it'll work, though. Also, how come you have a computer with a bluray drive? I'm asking because in the future, more computers might come with a bluray drive....

One solution could be to buy a cheap (if you have the money of course) external DVD-drive, so the game could be installed on your computer...

If al else fails, as the poster above me said, EA lets you download any EA game that you've purchased retail via their online store, now called Origin.

Thank you! The Blu Ray actually seems to be the prob. I tried it with an external drive and... wush... it worked. Dear Bioware, how can this be true? :(

And yes, I have no DVD in my PC... It is quite a new PC, so maybe that's why.

Thanks @ all for your help! Also, the workaround in network is a nice idea :) Thx!

I have the same problem, but an older computer and no Blue-ray device. Don't understand why it is doing this. Had DAO Ultimate installed, then had problems had to reformat computer. Could it be a problem with Windows XP now installed?
