Hello! I bought Mass effect 2 to my PC for like a month ago. Yesterday i decided to clean up my computer. I removed a lot of pictures, unneccesary programs and games including ME2. However when I removed it the game asked if I wanted to keep my save files. I choosed "Yes".

But today i regreted that i un-installed so I decided to install it again. The installation went fine until the game told me to insert the 2nd disc. When I did that the installation stopped and an error message popped up and said "The installation of Mass effect 2 has failed. Permission denied on data file."

I am now very sad because I didn't finnish the game and now I can't not install it!
I've googled around a bit but I didn't really find any answers. I'm on a Windows 7 64-Bit by the way.

 Can anyone help me?

1)  you could register the game on here.  Among other things, that shows that you probably have a legitimate copy.

And did you patch the game??

i borrowed ME2 on ps3 from a freind And i put in and said install game data, i clicked ok and has taken me hours to download 1%, so i thought it might've crashed so i reboot the ps3 then i did this a couple of times , once i left in on the whole night and it had only installed 3%. then i googled around and fojnd that it installs best on new/goodps3, some had full formatted and said it helped alot, so i did a 7hour full format and then i pit ME2 in and i have been sittin here since , progress: 0% in 1hour
