Why would you trust reviews? They gushed over L.A. Noire and that game quickly became mind-bogglingly boring.

Correction:  Might return if my FRIENDS say it's horrible.

That, and, well, there were warning signs all over the place that I shouldn't get StarCraft 2, but I was like naaaah, Blizzard wouldn't let me down after ten years of development.

So you're going to wait to play until after your friends have? Where's the fun in that?

Face it, I've got you cornered.:P

It's almost guaranteed to be a day one purchase for me, no matter how much I hate the thought of getting DA 2 syndrome. I cannot stay away from BioWare games, but I AM resisting TOR. They're going to have to do something special with that game to make me want to waste my life playing it, and attaching "Star Wars" to the title is not it.

I bought DA 2 despite all the negative stuff I've heard and I dig it the most - for what it's worth.

Oh yeah.  My buddies all told me it was a good game.

But it wasn't finished.  I'm not gonna drop $60 on a half-done project.  Call me a bit of a douche for this, but I'm not going to support bad marketing decisions when it cuts into the quality of a product.  Ya can't rush art.

Speaking of which, have you played Alpha Protocol? A beautiful game and concept that was half-finished (maybe not HALF finished but definitely with huge flaws), it's worth playing if only to see the things they did right.

Eh, I didn't really notice it lacking any more than any other Bioware title I've played. But that's just my two cents.

I picked it up because it was, like, $2 on Steam today. I might get around to playing it in 2012. >.<

Can't help it. Getting Collector's Edition. Want cool things.

Might return unopened if reviews are horrible. Did that for DA2 when I heard it was released basically unfinished.

Still plan on playing DA2 eventually.  Just waiting for it to be really cheap.

I traded in 3 of my favorite games for it. I promptly returned it 5 days later. Got about 35$ bucks for that crappy game. Which is cool, considereing how I only spent 10$ on it.

Not yet.  Heard of it, though.  Maybe if I can get it for cheapies somewhere...  Gotta finish Portal 2 and Dead Space 2 first.

And Bioshock.  And DA:O.

I only started seriously PC gaming like two years ago.  Got a lot still on my plate.  Thankfully, there are tons of old games out there that I've yet to touch, so I don't have to worry about my laptop becoming obsolete.

Despite being incredibly difficult to play {even though ME2 is perfectly smooth on my machine, AP is very very jerky when you're moving around, and the camera/mouse has a poor range of positions [if your recticle is right next to a person, moving it one increment towards them will move it past them--I'm not sure what you'd call that, but it makes sniping much more difficult)]} *, I find it very enjoyable.

*curly braces for the win!

I too have so many games to play. I just got DA:O a short while ago, only have one completed playthrough on that,  need to play Oblivion once more and actually finish the main story, and try to finish all of the side quests for FF XIII, then need to get Skyrim, FF XIII-2, Assassin's Creed Revelations, NFS The Run, Deus Ex HR, and finally ME3. I'll be busy for all of 2012, no doubt.

I still haven't finished Half Life 2 Ep.2, and that game is like 5 hours long.

Damn you, Mass Effect!

Come to think of it, I have 10 missions left in Portal 2's splitscreen mode. Wanna come to my house?

Talk like Mordin. Good role model. Encourage it.

Still, long time in development does not equal good product. Star Craft 2 warning example. Also very high expectations, may not encourage finishing product properly. DA 2 and Fallout NV warning example.

Speaking of FO NV, still haven't bought it even though realy want to play, even more than ME3.  Hoping for later version including DLC and debugs. No money for unfinished product. May do the same for ME3.

Bioware is like my cooky canadian uncle who I really love but sometimes can annoy me. He doesn't ALWAYS keep his word, and is a bit full of himself, but I forgive him because he brings me such amazing gifts.

No intention whatsoever of playing let alone buying ME3. I hope it tanks.

Not sure if impersonating bitter fan or actually is bitter fan.

Afraid to assume either.

There was never any debate in my mind of whether or not to buy Mass Effect 3, but I'm keeping my expectations of the game fairly low, regardless. I hate the feeling of disappointment when a game doesn't quite live up to what the developers were hyping it up to be.

From the gameplay I've seen so far. It looks pretty sick. I think the biggest disappointments in Bioware will be how characters act in ME3 since the romances and such have given us such high expectations for interaction in ME3. I for example, am a huge fan of Thane. If he dies a lot of fangirls are going to be really sad. If Tali's face is shown that will make a tun of people mad. And if it's not shown it will make a tun of people mad. People are raging like crazy about the romance options that will be available. We fans love this series so much of course we have crazy awesome ideas of what the next game is going to be like. I believe there is very little chance it will completely suck. If it is a good game i'll be happy and content. Even if it isn't the best game of all time.

I've endured too many cutscenes and dialogue to be denied my war with the Reapers now. I will however pray that its available through Steam so I can opt out of this Origin garbage.
